Would someone confirm that once you complete this event and you get a Legendary artifact, do we need to unlock each line and then upgrade it? Or is it all unlocked already and all we have to do is upgrade each line? Would be helpful if it's all unlocked but I'm not getting my hopes up.

You only have to upgrade each line .Theyre all unlocked.

The artifact comes fully unlocked.

Confirmed, it comes unlocked with one star at all five levels. You need museum level 3 to implement it though. Until then, it stays in your coffin.

I can unlock the legendary slot in my industrial base by upgrading to a level 3 museum. It is on my list, after barracks, fort, airstrip, alliance gate, embassy... Actually, would people put having this artifact ahead of other "must have" upgrades?

I just got to Cold War and upgraded the museum now it’s in my 2nd legendary slot

id do it barracks airstrip and then museum, but not for the helmet, for the fragment production

I got it, it's going to sit in my inventory for a while though because the sword I bought a while ago works better for my playstyle and I haven't reached Cold War yet.
