BHG, over the past few years you have had many updates. You also sold us crowns to speed up these upgrades. Many of us have spend a lot of money to upgrade troops and defense. You also sold us troop cards to help win wars so we could use the recourses to also help with our upgrades. Over and over we bought crowns thinking we could grow and upgrade our games.
Now you’ve changed the rules with this rebalance. What we thought we upgraded has now been downgraded. I have one huge question. When will you refund all the money we used for upgrading? Hope you do realize that your bait and switch move warrants refunds.

Why should we, the customer just accept the fact that you pushed buying crowns for upgrades only to pull the rug from beneath us? Also, why should we trust you to spend anymore money on Dominations?

instead of deleting this post how about responding to it. And I don’t mean a response by Tin soldier. I feel a management decision maker needs to step up and respond to this.

I bet their defence will be something along the lines of “it’s subjective that X item isn’t useful anymore, just try out different compositions!” The issue is that a company as sleazy as Nexon can easily slither out of paying back the customers, and do you really think they want to do that when the game appears to be on its last legs and the playerbase at large is upset (again) with their actions? Don’t spend any more money on this game, it’s not worth it, and you can probably get enough crowns by saving up from the daily videos, since there are so many of them now. Can’t wait for TinSoldier to either lock the thread or respond “I’ve passed this to the team.”

They're not gonna issue any refunds. They're also not gonna admit that they screwed up. And I'm not gonna spend another dime on this game; all of my money goes to another game now.

If I log in at all now it's just to farm. The game is Farmville to me now.

They will not officially admit it, in fact they can‘t. But they can revert certain changes. I wouldn‘t be surprised if the HT defender will be nerfed massively shortly to sane HP again.

These "goodbye world" posts are getting pretty tiresome, IMO.

The rebalance is not over yet. There are several more stages to be revealed.

It is silly to think that any game will not undergo patches and rebalancing. Therefore it is silly to think that whatever the meta strategy is will be the strategy for all time.

I've never heard of them issuing any refunds. But apple / google has, and for less egregious changes to the game than this. So they will lose some money, open question how much.

The rebalance isn't over, but it doesn't help when phase 3 starts with the words 'we are very pleased with the results of phase 2'', the very same phase that nerfed every troop composition except HT to the ground almost. And then proceed to drive barracks compositions so deep underground they might pop up on the other side of the globe.

This is not a patch. They've completely changed the dynamics of the game, and they've done it in a way that's destroyed the "fun" aspect of it.

They don't understand their own game. They think that we play this game in order to build powerful bases. We don't. It's an attacking game. And when attacking is no longer fun - when it's too hard to do without spending real money, or losing too much to be worth it - then people aren't going to do it anymore.

I have no interest in dropping 1000 medals every day to raid just for NTG, so that I can make a handful of war attacks and still have a chance at 5* a lvl 250+ CWA. That's not fun, it's work. And it's work that you'll have to pay $$ to do.

I'm not paying $ so that I can work at a game that's no longer even any fun anymore. You have fun if that's your thing.

Anyway, LitanyOfFire , if they call it a ''rebalance'' then it should've been done as such: incrementally.
Clearly Nexon has never been sailing. If one side of a boat has 100kg and the other side has 60kg, you only take 20kg from one side to 'balance' the boat. ie: small increments. THIS is how a balance works.
If you simply double up the other side in one hit guess what happens?
eg: I'm happy defending troops are getting a HP buff, but a 100% buff for some troops?
But why are we bothering to discuss this? Nexon could've asked us to brainstorm or workshop some ideas, increases, etc, before they introduced anything.
Or they could've put a number of suggestions on their Facebook page and asked us to vote for them (we may not have seen the votes so they could've introduced anything they wanted).
Or they could've simply looked back at 3 years of discussions. There are a number of ways they could've come up with something that would've worked for us. Instead they've come up with something they hope will work for them.
However I'm always hopeful something will come from our communal outrage. Surely a company can't be so deaf to their own community?

Have just had my last 5 purchases refunded. I don't mind ALL the other purchases and accept that spending some money on a game I enjoyed. But this is crap. They knew this was coming for some time. No way will they get another dime from me. Pay to win is not going to happen.

You can contact google play or the apple store and get a refund usually no more then 90 days worth.
