Does the Museum Rebalance Units?

Either by design or as an unintended side-effect, I think the combat/defense boosts could rebalance the effectiveness of different units.

Right now, most players use ranged infantry (shooters) , heavy cavalry (tanks), ranged siege (howitzers), and fighter aircraft. So everyone is keeping artifacts that buff or nerf those units. Eventually everyone will have 11% artifacts attack and defense bonuses for them, effectively putting us back to the status quo. So clever players should keep artifacts that nerf the most used units, but keep artifacts that buff less popular units, such as mortar troops and paratroopers, for offence.

I don't know whether any factory troops are included in the Museum categories, e. g. are MRLs included in ranged siege? If not, the bonuses make factory units more effective.

It sort of does. But on a personal scale. I rarely get a full attack and then I get raided successfully 1 to 3 times a week.. Lots of edge nippers and med droppers though.

Right now there is no artifact that yields bonuses to heavy tanks.

To that point my focus is on loot increase. I already have bracelets yielding first tier double digit oil loot bonuses 😎

I feel like the game is really trying to get me to use mortar troop since I get 11% items but sadly always for mortar troops. I was curious about the supply vehicle healing aspect. Does that include tactical helis? While it is a healing vehicle I don't know if the game considers them a supply vehicle and I can't see for sure whether it's healing more than it normally did because I generally lose (Or don't lose) the same amount of troops regardless.

@sileepuppee: if you display the artifact and check tactical helicopter stats, you can check if they changed or not.
All other stats do apply at once, so it should work to check.

However, I'm guessing it will only work on truck though.

Thanks for the advice and I'm kicking myself a little because I didn't think to check that way. It is indeed only the truck that gets the bonus which is good because now I know but also bad because my best weapon artifact (Best of the worst) is useless to me now since I only use tac helis.

I'm pretty sure I've seen all the different stats that are available and it would appear that there's no bonus that goes towards factory troops which is a shame. I thought perhaps general bonuses would apply but they do not meaning buffs/debuffs to supply vehicles only affects barracks and I would assume raiders as well. Even though armored cars would be the raider unit of the factory, it's highly unlikely they would get any bonuses. Curious why they would ignore the factory unless people complain about not having oil? But the air strip has plenty of stats that affect those units. Maybe because the most recent university leader buffs HT and bazookas?

Right now people are mostly filling their museums with the first-level artifacts, and the situation is generally even from the point of balance. But eventually people will start getting good artifacts with 2 or 3 useful levels, and this will change the balance. We will not have enough blueprints to upgrade any artifact we want, so the wise choice would be to start upgrading attacking artifacts. And after a while there will be a lot of people with more or less upgraded attacking artifacts, but defending ones will be still at low level. So generally museum can be considered as a boost to attack.

Not Really

I can foresee that most player will chose Fighter HP / Defender Spawn Time as perk
And they will be very like net off by defense and offense perk.
