DomiNations PC "Network connection error"

Everytime I try to start the game it says "Network connection error" and wont start. It works fine for me on the phone but it is like this on the PC version.

Does anyone else also have this issue?

Dude i have the same connection error, from few days ago i had unstable connection when i wanted to log from website. and when i logged in, half of the time i had golden circle freeze problem. Since july 4 till now, i can't log into the game using browser. it keeps showing me "network connection error". i have access only by mobil.

I saw in the console that the game throws an error trying to access this resource: http://domweb.bighugegames.com/snc/ping
I think the error is due to trying to log in with the http protocol instead of https.
I enter that link in the browser and it allows unsecured access and the game now loads but as not secure.

I have the same issue. I contacted support yesterday and so far have received no feedback (just a we'll get to this message). I can't connect using chrome or firefox or edge. I tried two different PCs, one with 32 gb of ram, the other with 16. The browsers and OS and drivers are fully updated on each machine. I tried wired (ethernet) connections, wireless connections through two different routers, and connection through an iphone hotspot using its cell signal. Windows network troubleshooter told me my network connections were fine. Ookla Speedtest told me my network connection speeds were good. I reported all of this and more to support. I also mentioned that this had shown up as a problem over the past while (maybe a couple of months) but in the past, switching browsers or rebooting would eventually take care of the problem. I also told them I tried this on multiple accounts (I switch between a few accounts) and the same problem happened with each account but the feedback message (connection error and then player ID number) always gave me the same ID number or -1, no matter which account I was trying to launch. So far, no information

Did you try what I posted before? I'm playing like this now.
I was also trying to solve it by restarting the modem and router, but there was no point either.

Doesn't work for me. When I enter http://dominationsworld or http://www.domina..., the browser automatically corrects this to https://

I turned of the https-only settings in firefox and chrome and tried again. Still the websites switched to secure protocol (https). I tried a few other settings, nothing worked, so I set my browsers back to the higher security settings.

And besides, breaking security settings on my system to accommodate a broken website is not a workaround, it is a disaster waiting to happen.

Adding my name to this list. No biggie for me as l only check the vids on my pc at work (they load quicker) - and it also keeps me from doing too much at work. 😁

The game appears to be working again on one of my computers. Last time I checked, it was not yet working on the other one. I'll get back to that machine in a few hours

Ogni volta che provo ad avviare il gioco dice "Errore di connessione di rete" e non si avvia. Per me funziona bene sul telefono, ma è così sulla versione per PC.

Qualcun altro ha riscontrato lo stesso problema?
Le Occupa 3giga di spazio forse nn entra in memoria .

I just saw your note. The game has been working well for me, on the Windows platform, all day. I first logged in a few hours after the time of your report.
