Donating Troops Change

I like to stay in my Age for as long as possible as this has many benefits. One of which is being able to max my troop advancement.. in the armoury, Library, University and finally buffing them in the Museum. They are weapons!!

But when I want to donate them.. either in general play or for war, I’m told my troops revert back to ‘standard’ hit-points and attack. I can not share all my hard work with my team mates.

This doesn’t make any sense whatsoever (other than to encourage people to advance their Age earlier). Surely this is a change that has to happen??

Let the Dev’s know if you agree

when you donate anything to team mates, it loses the extra bonuses you may have from museum and uni.
when they receive the troops, they take whatever bonuses they have in their museum and uni.
Sounds fair to me.

I can see both sides but if someone makes the effort to improve troops then someone should always benefit from that hard work. Doesn't matter if its donator or donatee.

This would require a lot of extra data to manage and I highly doubt it'd be implemented, even if desired by all parties. Only troop size improvements are transferred for logistical reasons.

Also, let's say someone donates you a Heavy Tank; do you want to worry about what their University is, whether or not they researched Splash damage, and what their (War or Main?) Museum is? I sure wouldn't. I know what mine is so I'll know how the donated troops will behave.
