Forests Fail to Clear?!

It has been the fifth or so times I have tried to clear my forests and never succeeded. The area remains as forest though it has notified that forest clearing is done. I have contacted CS so many times but they closed my case by granting me 300 crowns and 3 million gold.
While the consequences I have to face is much worse, I may never be able to clear my forests FOREVER!
Anyone facing similar problem? Any resolution on this?

Yeah, I've tried to clear 3 different spots, didn't work
Well, there's always 1 or more bug in each game that developers may never be able to fix

Hi,
i have similar issue, forest i cleared are simply back and doesn't matter if there's placed building or not. This happened between patch you mentioned (mar 2018) where map expansion came and jun 2018 where cleared places switched overnight back to forests .Curious is as i mentioned that i have buildings and on top of them are trees now.

When I repeatedly tap an uncleared forest in the new expansion area, I can see two forest tiles stacked atop each other. I’m betting if I clear one then the other will remain. In addition, I can’t select oil seep or large trees that crop up in the new forests.

Not sure if I should feel happy or not, not being the only one who suffers this
I don't think it will be fixed soon.

Yeah me too. Finally
