Game crashing

I play with no apps running and the sound turned off, but after the most recent update, the game crashes at some point (usually during an attack or right after, in the load screen) almost every time I play. It's incredibly frustrating.

Anyone have any tips on how I can improve this (other than deleting the game; which I am now giving serious consideration to)?

No idea. It even crashes frequently on Bluestacks so I just put it down to bad coding. They had better tackle these problems soon before players do quit out of frustration.

In addition to what you've already been doing, restart your device before breaking a peace treaty/your first attack, restart the game after each attack and lastly (if you're not already) only play on a stable wifi connection. The game will still crash, but speaking for myself (I play on the same version of iOS) it does noticeably cut down on crashes.

I appreciate the advice, and I do have a good home wi-fi network. I occasionally restart before attacking, but when I have to do that regularly (as I do now), I've just reached the point of more hassle than it's worth for me to devote time to the game.

I'm going to try to be patient enough to hang in there until we get a new update, to allow them time to stabilize the game. If it doesn't get fixed, I'll just delete the game and move on to something else. There are thousands of free games out there. I'm sure I can find something else that appeals to me.

Hi I have been playing on an 64m iPad 2 using IOS 7.x.

I found after the last update the game crashes during
1. battle
2. searching for opponents
3. hunting
4. entering chat
5. going to war

CS told me I have to upgrade my hardware because the additional game features require more powerful hardware.

so ... I have developed the following poor work around and will probably stop playing when the add the global age.

1. restart after every battle
2. restart after "nexting" 5 times in a row
3. do not enter the chat while a TB is active
4. do not hunt whIle a TB is active
5. restart the game before starting an Animal Blessing
6. do not participate in wars
7. power down iPad at.least once a day

hope the work around helps. using the work around I can at least continue to play

please not the last time I opened a thread on "crashes" the mods killed the thread and removed my post

I have the problem with World War crash everytime I do scouting and attacking. And the game say that I have done my turn but I get not War loot and star.

Pls fix this ASAP!!!

Eh, I'll just take a break for a while and check back periodically, to see if they've stabilized the game, fixed bugs, etc. In the meantime, I've downloaded two new games that I'm have a good time with, so I'm not really worried about it anymore. ;-)

If a few months go by and nothing changes, I can always delete the game to free up space on my phone.
