Have crown requirements changed over last month??

Greetings,
During my 2 month tenure playing Dominations, I've noticed a subtle change with the worth of crowns you could call a "devaluation" or price hike.
About a month ago the crown cost for things was:
1 day = 150 crowns (research, buildings, etc)

Today's rate...
1 day = 221.5 crowns
(The game rounds down to 221 but a two day research is 443 for reference).
Has anyone else noticed this???

Note: Yes I do have all the required gold, food, available worker capacity for said research or upgrades when reviewing these numbers.
History:
I've spent close to $500 in this time on Dominations which according to my alliance is a bit high compared to most. My account is also a level 102 (star) Gunpowder age base (working on catching up to all the global age players).
I welcome feedback from any players and Dominations staff regarding this because this is basically an alarming 67% "price hike"...

No. The prices are the same as ever. You are just misunderstanding something. The crown cost is not a linear rate, but an exponential rate.
The longer the time, the cheaper to crown it.
For 1 minute, 1 crown.
For 4 hrs, exactly 60 crowns.
For 1 day's worth, exactly 300 crowns.
For 2 day, the cost you mentioned, 443.
For 3 day, about 500~520
And so on.

I firmly remember 1 day long upgrades being 150 crowns when I started. Now the worth of them has gone down
