How about Fishing?

Our empires are near water, yet we are not able to use that resource for food! Let's add fishing and use that resource a little bit better.. Thanks for the input!

I think maybe having fish traps out by the waters edge would be a nice addition. Maybe something to be researched in the higher tier library. Using a boat to trade goods between alliance members would be an awesome addition too. I'd also love to have an exchange feature in the markets to buy a particular resource for a higher price. Right now I'm loaded with food and need gold for a defense upgrade. .and I'd gladly trade even at higher rates to get what I want.
