How can someone in the Enlightenment Age be first on the Global Leaderboard for the Event with over 2 million points!

This is very variable. The first time I got a legendary artifact for accelerators was when I was in the Industrial Age. On occasion I leveled up, but age does not change on the leaderboard. But I got many artifacts for accelerators without leveling up. Many were used at university that don't generate XP. Anyway... many possibilities and it's hard to point out what each one is doing. However, this amount of accounts from lower Ages was not common in these types of events. No wonder we're talking about this.

The current Global Leader is a Classical Age player with 4,853,710 points.
If just using speed ups, that's 48,537 hours of speed ups.
I'd say that's highly unlikely that its legit.

The way I see this is possible to speed up buildings or investigations and then cancel them before they're finished... it would be practically burning accelerators to vice.

This player is now Space Age, but it doesn't update on the leaderboard. They are just spending to get a new account up to Drone.

Please make reports like this to our CS Team for investigation here as well. That is the most definitive way to guarantee exploits and cheating gets properly tracked and addressed.

Check his VIP level. Should be pretty high, but I'm guessing he's still at 1.

Nope. His VIP level is not level 1 and he's not a cheat. This is just an alt account of his that he wants to get to Drone asap. His main account has won the leaderboard several times in the past. I know it looks like cheating, but I'll be very surprised if he doesn't stay at #1.
