How do U defend against Tanks

Hello, I am looking for some advice:

1) I am EA level 95 1247 Medals (Silver 1). I have been playing between 1000 - 1200 medal until today, when I increased my barrack space to 115 troops.

I was attacked by a IA level 155 (not sure how many medals). The attacker was Danstion from the North Dakota Alliance.

Danstion brought:

1 level 23 General (Napoleon)
1 level 25 General (Cleopatra)
3 Raiders
2 Heavy Tanks
2 Flammpanzers
4 Tanks
4 Shock Infantry
1 Supply Truck
2 Artillery
4 Machine Guns
4 Tactics

Of course he five starred my base

I guess I should be happy that a person needs so much power to 5 star my base, but I'm not happy.

Any ideas / tips on how to defend against Heavy Tanks, Tanks, etc. would be appreciate. My first thought is to hide back down at 800+ medals until I build my defence up.

I have to ask, do you keep track of how many crowns people use vs how much they actually bought ? Just for the fun of it I looked in the Silver 1 member list:

There are 9 players who are at 1A and are level 155 or above !!

Not with standing that some of them may have paid $$$$ to upgrade their base and troops quickly,
I cannot believe all of them bought their crowns legally. BTW There are probably just as many IA level 155+ hiding in Silver II and III.

May I suggest that you put all of these players into "a league of their own", until you establish if they bought crowns legally. Your analytics teams should easily be
able to find all players who are IA and are level 155+ regardless of how many medals they have. Just a thought.

Well, everybody who's left among old players just got used to that. We had all these crazy stories, tons of them. At least now we also can upgrade to IA and take fair revenge, because before we just couldn't while those 'favorites' were in IA 2 months before everybody. That's why we don't pay until it is completely fixed. Enjoy your long peace treaty so far, you can't defend from max army even if you mates send cannons and you use them in defense and all blessings are in place. fair players at higher medals would usually sniper your base with raiders/soldiers/tanks.

There's no defense against that kind of attack. I can't say wether the player who attacked you was cheating or not but I think we've all come to realize that cheaters and hackers are going to be a permanent part of this game. My advice is the same as it's always been, enjoy the game but don't spend on it. Only an idiot would pay for something a lot of other players are getting for free. The developers simply let the cheating keep on for so long that if they banned them all it would probably eliminate a good percentage of the player population. Consider the fact that so many players were frustrated enough with the cheaters that they said "if we can't beat them join them" and you could see why this is going to be an ongoing problem.

Against such armies, you don't. Level 20+ generals are very strong, heavy tanks and flammpanzers seem like they have a ton of damage to destroy buildings with ease, especially with 4 machine guns protecting them, the artillery just adds to that. Then the tactics means you probably had no chance against (most likely)cheated armies.

Just forget about it and move on. Don't even look at the replays. It helps reduce the hurt.

I had a similar attack today ( even 2 generals of level 30, full mercs and 5 tactics - the constant of his army is so long that two screenshots are required. Later I have checked his base - of course fully maxed even the walls are such that I have never seen them yet

As mentioned fully maxed base with maxed walls - cheater, who has an obscure habit to attack players with maxed army, mercs and full tactics.

Radzeer, if that guy had to use that many troops to get a 5-star victory from your base I don't think you have anything to feel bad about - just the opposite. Besides, if you study the history of warfare you'll see that a victorious army was most likely victorious because it outnumbered the opposition 2, 3 or 4 (or more) times to 1 - so two things are inevitable:
1) a stronger army is always going to defeat you and
2) an opponent who has the opportunity or means to outnumber you is ALWAYS going to use it before attacking.

I mean, why wouldn't he? (or she). Let's face it, we all take the opportunity to raid a base that's weaker than ours - the ones who say they don't are full of ****.

The fact is, that even a quarter of his army would 5 star my mid EA base. What buggers me is the fact, that he has nothing to achieve, does not need resources (maxed base, all walls level 13 I guess), just terrorizing....
