I started with clash of clan early on in 2012 but I quit last year once you try playing other game U will notice how far behide coc really is Games like raids of glory where we have full control of our troops or Gang nations where u buy ur troops while pvp are so much better and now this game. I do miss raid of glory but I really like the PVE this game has to offer compare to those 2

I do play clash of clans. I think you should compare this game to other games as well since it is not just the same to clash of clans.

To me this game is taking few things from clash of clans, some from boom beach, some from age of empires and incorporating some new stuff of its own which make it into a terrific game.

I did play Coc but quite 2 months ago, i got bored whit it after reaching lvl 106..

CoC sucks, I played first day after 2 minutes I was stuck with slow loot, nothing to do, so I looked for game similar & found this & it's way better not pay to progress.

I am on CoC but now with TH5, mines and elixir will take 2 days update each and then after that more and more time. And this game is a good change. Very different, i wish the graphic should be more high definition. They are little blurry and pixilated with little zoom.

CoC was boring,so i was searching for a new game who could change this, and i found this one ... It's way better than Clash !

I may quit CoC. This game is by far a lot better.

This game is good and has a lot of potential but at this stage it's not on the same level as CoC. I hope they can take a lot of ideas from CoC and implement them here!

CoC is something more of a passive game now for me. Rebuilding our clan, or rather alliance in this case, is the top priority for now. Do feel free to join Sleipnir.

Sorry this might not be the right thread to talk...
If you play CoC, creating a new clan is still a problem for me as I failed to build a brand new one last year and haven't tried it yet again until today. My main problem is, I basically have no real world friends to support me to build a new clan as all the people I know are belong / very loyal to their current Clans.

I tried couple of times to get members from global chat, but i only able to get max of 5 or 6 members last time, and after some time (around 2-3 weeks) I finally closed my clan as one by one, they moved out from my clan. I guess mainly got bored as no war happened, or maybe becoz it was too quiet in the clan chat.

Anyone have had the same problem like me here??

Based on my experience, the best clan members are your real world friends and colleagues. This is because they will stick closer to you and you can also easily nag them to go to war. Over a period of time, they may also introduce their friends and that's how the clan grows.

It will be harder for you to setup a tightly integrated clan now because now they have clan levels. Members of higher level clans may not want to give up the perks by joining a new clan.

It is true that it is much easier to build a clan with your friends and colleagues. However, in order to have fun battles in Clash of Clans you need a clan with at least 20 or 25 members. It is very seldom that someone has 20 or 25 clasher friends that do not have already a clan. Or at least, that is my situation.

I am trying to build a new clan with 4 of my friends. If I want to fight strong clans I need at least another 20 members. Otherwise, it doesn't make to much sense and fun.

To recruit members has been very difficult and time consuming and you need to fast. Otherwise, the members that you already recruit will leave since there are no campaigns.

If someone can provide some good tips about how to recruit members, it will be great.
