I'm liking these deals from Marco.

An improvement, and much better than the last ones. Unlimited supply and a significant amount of more options, too. Though I feel sorry for the japanese nation players cause they're going to be hunted to death for their silk this rotation, lol. Next rotation, make it so Marco's got an addiction to timber; I'm sure it'll be a massacre at the higher medal ranges.

But it's still trading arguably the rarest NTG for the other. Over the course of normal gameplay, you will max the other NTGs before you get enough silk to trade for them, so it's pretty worthless to me.

This is a very well done one. Many trade options although the rotation days is a bit slow :)

should have been more variant on the side of NTGs u give, also ability to trade normal goods as fur leather and so on for NTGs would have been a great option too, anyway let's see what the upcoming visits offer us

True. Especially in atomic and at higher medal ranges. My global alt is swimming in bubblegum, though, since I've had it around 400-600 range to farm up 500k+ gold/food per raid a lot and that's usually where a ton of japanese nation bases hang around. I need to get my farm game on with my atomic base, but I'd (atleast hopefully) figure that there's a few global japanese nation bases around that range -- surely they've atleast upgraded from industrial age to global by now.

Has anyone done the math on this? You are buying 20 Silk with 450 crowns you can trade that in for 6 pairs of other trade goods with 2 left over so that's 14 NTGs for 450 crowns. For the same amount, 450 crowns you can go to your storehouse and purchase 18 random NTG's. So basically you are paying roughly 100 crowns extra for the convenience of selecting exactly what you want which is close to the same as buying through the embassy. Whoop-de-doo

Am I the only one who thinks that Marko is just another pay to win feature? 450 crowns for whatever coalitions you want for your wars. Takes the grind out of finding hard to find nations and beating them.

I made good use of trading my Japanese NTG for the rare NTGs that I needed. Then I go raiding Japanese bases to restock my silk NTGs. Marco is much better than last time for sue.

If they repeat the same deal now but with different NTG than silk, that means that for the next 7 weeks we will get the same boring trades :(
It's better to have more options than 3, but 8 boring options for 7 weeks is also bad :(

I think marco is a waste almost as much as the Expeditions.

Most offers dont help me, i dont have money to buy crowns on the things he offers, most mat exchanges are useless unless i need the specific mat he is offering and i have excess in the one being used for the trade.

He is useful when he offers troop tatics if i have the mats needed to trade for them.

He would be 100% more useful if you had a choice in the materials exchange. Any 3 for 2 of your choice.

More choice for the players = more power for the players. People can't see the usefulness of expeditions because of their style of play. What if you have a busy week or more incoming, and can't raid for resources to put your workers to do something? Send them on an expedition and you get some nice goodies when you get back into the game. Or you need to collect oil for your big airstrip upgrade, but can't chain 3-4 hours of oil raiding and be online so your oil doesn't get stolen. Well, get the peace treaty expedition done, activate it and continue raiding sometime later with no fear of being raided yourself in the meantime.

Marco Polo, also more choice, you can turn on tryhard raiding boots and attack a lot of Koreans, and get 5 troop card armies, or get a backup resource of your choice in inventory ready to be claimed at your leisure. Could be better, but the offers are getting better and better already, to be fair.

Works for me.

The crown offers are way overpriced but I've already had 4 of the 5 ninja army's available :)

last week i stockpiled about 10 of each NTG's.

Sure some weeks won't be any help but hey ho, can't have it all.

I have done like 3 total expeditions. This feature is nearly useless for me, i very rarely have workers not upgrading something and if i do, i usually have the time to raid for the resources i need for next upgrade faster than i would get those workers back from the expedition they are on.

Well, if you don't use it, it doesn't mean the entire playerbase doesn't use it. There are people who don't have time sometimes to raid every day and get the resources for everything, so this gives them something to do and employ their workers. Also this is the only way that I know of to get peace treaties without paying money, they are useful when you have to collect oil and don't have an entire day to burn.
