The problem resolved itself after a few hours (after the war was over). Yanno... I hate to complain about customer support because they are probably volunteers, but I get the laziest most inane responses off the cuff from them. Is this to meet some requirement to respond with some sort of contact within a certain amount of time? Telling me to reboot my game when NOBODY can use the in-game chat and it will affect the war outcome is not likely to fix any sort of problem (unless we were all in the same room, using the same wifi). If customer support IS volunteer, my apologies. All volunteer work is laudable.
