iOS 11.4 getting message “Good news! A new version of the game is available”

When I launch the game this message comes up and can’t continue. If I click the update button it brings me to AppStore but there is no new version... Stuck... have tried resetting, reinstalling, logging out and into iCloud, everything I can think about. I also signed into my Game Center account on another device and same issue happens.

I figured that :) I build software for CS reps, and scoring systems to get understanding of priority. One would think I would be high on the queue for many reasons 🤑
but that’s ok, life goes on, just a game. Not like there isn’t 2 million other ones ;)

Hi !!
I also can’t login to the game.
As I try to login, the error message pops up saying “new update is available” and there’s no such update ofc.
I tried to login with other devices but it gives me the same message.

It’s been four days and all I get from CS is a reply saying that this problem is under investigation.
I’ve tried several things such as reinstalling, clearing the data and changing an Apple ID but none of them worked.

I do understand that there’s been so many bugs and problems to be taken care of. However, I think it’s a bit raw deal to the player who had spent two years and thousands of dollars on this game.

Any information/suggestion will be appreciated.

Account issue report, though not as many as bugs reports has to be the #1/set as a priority for CS to respond. Because that is the core of our games. Not sure why they try to ignore or close the conversation. Probably cause they're not sure how to handle it 😔.

I'm still thinking there will be a solution though. Your game is there still, just have to breach in the protocol lol.
How about contacting Apple Support?

Player in my alliance has same issue on Android, try’s to open the game then a message comes up that the game needs updated when there is no update available, almost 2 weeks this has been going on, CS going around in circles to no effect, This is an almost maxed atomic age player who spent good cash.
Factory reset tablet 4 times, got a code to limk account from CS nothing works it is a shame, great game with so many issues

Well you could try again when an actual update is available. Do you have a device backup from before the last update that you could restore? Then you could do the update and maybe that would put things right.

It's some kind of speculation what Cannibals advised lol. Worth to try though, later.
But if it's iCloud/Apple ID related, I'm afraid it just can't be fixed device-wise 😐.
