Is this cheating or just a bug??

I got attacked by a play approximate 30 levels below me. He attacked with 22 raiders, 36 shooters an 2 mortars. The replay shows as a result of that battle a loss for my opponent, raiding very litte loot, gold an oil (see pictures below).

Unfortantely the resulat after the battle showed a 5-star-win for my opponent, raiding more tha 4000 oil, 4 diamonds etc.

I contacted CS and they mentioned – what I already knew from WW-replays – that replays and the real battle are not always accurate, but that the showed resulat in the „defense“ always are right. Due to my experience in this game it is just impossible to get a 5-star-victory over my base with 22 raiders and 36 shooters. It seem’s that CS are the much more players than I am, because they are the oppinion that a five-star-victory surely ist possible (I would like to see that….)

Han anyone faced something similar?

Cheating. It has happened to a lot of people recently, see other posts here and reports from alliance members.

It isn't a replay issue, because the troops recorded as used could not possibly have gotten 5 stars on the bases in question. No matter how skillfully deployed, they just don't have the hp and dps to get through.

Was my opinion as well; I should ask CS to show me get the base down with those troops (they must be very skillful players...)

After 2 years of playing this finally happened to me yesterday. 50 levels below me, 36 raiders, 4 Merc tanks, 2 decoys, no wall breakers for my lvl 15 walls.
Battle log shows 700k resources and 8000 oil, 5 star victory.
MANY replays show 300k resources and 1300 oil, no star defeat.
CS gave me crowns but no answer to my question '''will I get my resources back?''

This keeps happening to me too. I have reported at least 4 players whose attacks that some how got 5 stars on my base that didn't make any sense. I'm really starting to get tired of the same replay bug reply support gives me. I don't even care too much about the resources, even if i'm losing like 5k oil or 7k oil each time. Its losing 31 medals from being attacked by someone who is 50 levels below me while I'm so close to getting to dynasty league for the achievement that pisses me off. It just keeps happening, cheaters attack with crap troops and log shows them winning 5 stars while replay shows them getting 0 stars. Is there anyway I could get a refund on the medals lost? I just want to get to dynasty league dammit.

I'm tired of support always responding with "you can trust that logs are accurate regardless of what replay shows". ATTACKS that show weak troops attacking a high level base and getting an instant 5 star while not getting rid of any of the defense blessings just makes no sense. ITS CLEARLY CHEATING, please at least admit that its not just a "discrepancy" between the logs and replay just slightly showing something different.

It's the Turkish scam that's been happening for some time now. I've seen it four times with my base. My alliance members have seen it too. Attackers seem to be Turkish always.

It's always the same: the attacker uses no blessings, no mercenaries, no tactics, and comes with inferior troops. He has ability to place his troops wherever he wants - even at places where there is no room to insert troops. All his troops get killed pretty soon with replay resulting as my victory. Yet he grabs 5 star victory in log and snatches huge pile of medals from me. Funny thing is that my defensive blessings don't expire, my three generals don't die, my HT bunkers don't need refilling, and yet his victory is supposed to be legit 5 star one! Yeah, sure!
