Losing members.....Rebalance and Elephants

All the controversy over the absolutely game killing rebalance about bolstering defence, three or four paid elephant armies and your defence is a waste of time. For the past few wars, it's been disheartening, we have just been a wash with attacking elephant armies. All alliance tactics with defensive or attacking coalitions, are almost pointless when you just get flattened by elephants every time......... Small rant over, now to the real problem.

As an alliance co-leader we are finding it difficult to keep members and those that stay have almost stopped engaging. Members are on the game less for multiplayer, when it comes to war, the enthusiasm has almost disappeared........Why, because you just can't compete against someone who just pays to beat you.

We have always been an alliance that was extremely chatty in both in-game-chat and on the line app. We have been a very inclusive alliance, including any member regardless of level or ability. The leaders and council have developed a close relationship over the years, some have even met up, traveling to different countries which is amazing. Almost all the leaders are now talking about calling it a day and maybe closing the alliance for good, that's 3 years building up an alliance.........

So if you are reading NEXON, how do we keep members in the alliance and engaged, as I don't have answer.

Sounds real bad Why too soon to give up. If we would have quitted it should have been from ourselves. All games make many big changes from time to time.
Rebalance has just been going on for a few months it shouldn't be the main reason of people quitting right?

Why, because you just can't compete against someone who just pays to beat you.

While the ‘rebalance’ sucks and is obtuse in the extreme, people paying their way to get an advantage is as old as time. nothing you can do about these people.
And to be fair, they have the right.
All we can do is just keep playing. What is it Chris from Outlaws always says? Just keep your sticks on the ice.

if your group is warring at high enough glory that you see constant EAs coming at you ... that means you have done very well.
the better you are the more elite teams you will meet that play like that... perhaps that's winning.
