Lvl 29, 430+ medals new player looking to join an alliance

Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to the game and this genre in general. I haven't played Clash of Clans or any other of these kind of games. I want to join an alliance that talks and helps out noobs like me and doesn't require a huge level of commitment as I only play for ~1 hour/day, usually a few minutes here and there. I've not been in an alliance before btw. How would I choose which one to join?

To join an alliance you simply pick an open alliance with less than 50 member that you find in the search and join

Snoop around in the alliance gate forum. Look for a group with experience gaming. CoC seems to be one of the most similar games to this, so leaders with experience there could be a plus. Then pick one whose other attributes are a fit for you -- age, experience or level requirements, language, geographic location, participation requirements, etc. People who give good & helpful advice here in forum are often good leader / teachers in an alliance as well. .....
