Another interesting rotation. I think what we need to see next is that if Marco can sell these event buildings for crowns then they should also be purchasable with luxury goods. Because, as I'm sure we'll probably see down the line, Marco will probably be selling bazooka towers, and at atomic age this is going to be 2000+ crowns, basically gated to only high paying players and an P2W factor. What is the free player to do about it? Well, crowns aren't an option, but there are plenty of resources that can be utilized to make up the level of the playing field. So lets say Marco's ninja dojo was being sold for not only 2500 crowns, but also 20+ of two nation's luxury goods each sounds like something feasible. A bit back-breakingly difficult to get them, but incentivizes players to actually play the game -- which I've said before, the game needs better incentive to play it, especially when you've got every worker but two left behind upgrading buildings for more than a week.
