I like this week. Already made 5 cider for fur trades. Be careful though, all the fur is one big bucket. I don't know what would happen if you exceeded your storehouse limit. I assume when you cashed in the fur it would just fill you to your max, and the remainder would stay in inventory. Anybody want to take one for the team and try it? ;)

I've frequently had max cider and when I claim the victory chest or dock bonus, it'll just be added above the maximum. As far as getting it from the inventory, I don't think you can claim it unless you have the space for it.

When you claim it, it will fill you to your max, and leave anything left in your inventory

compared to last two weeks this one is a letdown....
but then i was too-pleasantly surprised last week with the stag lures, so my expectations are tweaked.

i do appreciate the concept, it's good.

I feel like every rotation should have common trades -- like NTGs for tactics or troop cards -- and then the rest are the RNG ones that show up every other rotation. It would actually be very good if that was a thing, because it means the active war player could stock up on an RNG troop card of the week from Marco to utilize in wars. I would guess that would be the dock's purpose, but considering that thing has been in the game for about eight months now and pretty much everyone I know doesn't use it, I'd figure other alternatives are good.

These cards shouldnt be in wars to begin with, so making them more accessible isnt a good solution..

I think he could be a great feature if done right.

For starters he shouldnt be a weekend only feature.

2nd he should always allow you to trade 3 ntg for 2 of another ntg

3. he should give us another use for diamonds, not sure exactly how though. Maybe something like speed ups. So for 16 diamonds you can buy a 3 hour speed up to apply to a building or research. Limit to 1 purchase per day. I think this feature more than anything would make the player base very happy.

4. he should allow us to trade 2:1 gold:food

There are many other good ways they could use him but i think the above is a great start.

Well, it doesn't look like they're ever going to back away from the idea of troop cards in wars. So if they're not going to, then they need to make getting troop cards capable to acquire outside of events via something like grinding for NTGs and making trades with Marco on his roations. Part of the reason troop cards are so P2W is because people cannot get the broken cards like elephant archers outside of paying for them or using crowns (which are funded through paying). The playing field is not level, money shouldn't be an advantage over earning something through painful amounts of grinding and effort.

I do agree with you as the lesser of two evils. But the problem is none of the good cards will every be free, they will always cost money or crowns.

What do you think about the rest of my post?

Well, I don't mind that he shows up every two days out of a week. I mostly put a lot of grinding into my base on the weekends over weekdays, which with Marco being there helps to trade out some things for benefits. I think part of the reason he only really shows up for two days out of a week is so that nations that are the target of that rotation aren't going to be so hunted out of the matchmaking that you don't even see them for the entire week. Heck, I barely saw any feeder bases of Roman or Korean nation in low medal ranges when it was their turn in the Marco target list for NTGs. NTGs for other NTGs is also useful. Diamonds could definitely use a bit more uses, as is it is limited to mercenaries, blessings, and the oil shipments. And I don't really have much of an issue with gold or food, both of those resources have been a moot point in the growing grind for oil; almost all the walls surrounding my oil well are on their way to being custard walls in the grind for oil because of all the surplus gold and food earned.

To avoid the NTG issue, we can treat marco like the Card Shop in Clash Royale. The offers change every day with exception of the 3:2 ntg and 2:1 food and the diamond trade.

I see the 2:1 gold:food trade to be more of a, man im 300k short on gold for this upgrade, my troops are going to take 35 min to train and i have to go, so ill take my excess food and trade it for gold so i can start the upgrade.

If you are grinding walls, there is no reason to make a food/gold exchange.

I was even thinking about the potential of something like 10,000:1 food/gold:eek:il.

Im just getting into IA a bit more deeply and realize how much oil everything is going to take. It took me about 5 hours today to grind 43k oil so i could upgrade my castle with the discount we get right now.

I think something along the lines i have stated would go a long way into making the player base happy. First i want them to fix sandbagging and some of the huge bugs in the game, then look into this idea.
