Think we've all given up. It's clear the developers aren't going to change anything, and are content to have Marco be an extension of the daily sales using crowns, instead of using it for it's original stated purpose of trading all kinds of goods.

This week is the same crap. All crown offers except for a token ruby and NTG offer.

I believe the first few troop chest offers were to lure the players into Marco Polo and using troop cards to win battles. But as people got used to use the troop cards in all battles, it was time to put a price tag on troop cards and pull the focus on Mr. Polo to show that he still exists. The free rubies are now really not so premium anymore. As the saying goes - “you get what you paid for”. Since we really did not buy rubies, we shouldn’t be expecting too much in return from them.

That was the exact intent of Nexon. I rarely use cards in war. I see it with lower players all the time and keep telling them its a crutch.

The only good is that he was exchanging cheese for porcelain. Not fair deals, but I had my inventory stuffed with almost 70 cheese, I ran out of porcelain, so I took all 5 deals, helping myself towards that intriguing Marco Polo Negotiator Achievement as well!

Nailed it. It's particularly amusing that they keep increasing defense while they tighten the free troop card spigot. Oh, got used to spamming 140 Impis or 20 Armored Cars in every war? Have some new traps and good luck with those dwindling reserves.

I'd be happy to see a drastic decrease in troop card spamming but it smacks of Nexon wanting to have their cake and eat it too. Such is life I suppose.

chests cannot be sold in Domi Asia unless they reveal chances of getting those purple rewards. so all this time players in Domi Global were buying troop cards, players on Domi Asia let thousands and thousands of rubies go to waste because there was marco to trade with. obviously they were getting angrier and angrier every weekend, demanding Nexon to do something about this unfairness.

what should have been done is either reveal chances or just remove purple rewards and go all yellow with the troop chest, but what they did is start selling single cards. I play on Domi Global so Im not benefiting from this but I will say that although not ideal, it is still better than being unfair.

Howdy - can you explain more about domi Asia and domi global? I’ve had several exchanges with in game support about the seeming fix in troop card rewards. I bought 10 demolition chests once and got the lowest possible combination from all 10 chests. The game masters just say they can’t discuss the odds.
Also Marco is a sham and rubies now seem useless. The dock was supposed to get quicker for better rewards after level 7 but that never happened either. This game is going down the toilet.
