Can anyone explain to me how medals are calculated? I'm currently in the Empire III League; and my question comes from making attacks. When I'm cycling through and looking for an opponent to attack, some of them offer 1-3 medals for a win (regardless of high or low loot), and others offer as many as the high 30's for medals (regardless of high or low loot).
What I have learned is that if I attack someone that offers me high medals, my troops get massacred in next to no time, but if I attack someone that offers the measly 1-3 medals, I can typically win the battles with ease.
Also worth noting, it doesn't matter if the bases have their traps active or if they're tripped.
I'm trying to climb to Dynasty League, but I just don't see how this is possible when the only players I can win against offer so few medals.
