University is another 4 days of wasted citizens tho, its already maxed for my level, same with library, roads and temple, with just 1 day to finish caravans, those are unlikely to be finished in that short a timescale.

So how exactly is it wasting your citizens if you don't need to upgrade the building? If you don't need them for the instants, use them for other upgrades. There's more to this game than instant upgrades - and besides, others may appreciate them.
If these don't concern you, why make a pointless post?
And if you feel the need to post, why not add something constructive for the devs?

Yes BHG have all the poor poor folks in mind that can’t raid properly even more time to finish FREE upgrades just to hear even more I need more time or I can’t level up age to take advantage lol geesh ungrateful

BHG I will actually say Thank You for the nice free fluff upgrades. I do suggest if you try this again to state from start you only get 1 chance on these days to complete esp since your given them hundreds of dollars of upgrades for free. Again Thank you BHG from a grateful player.

Just play hard for a few hours each day you are wanting upgrades. So long as you are grabbing the free weekly 1h instant retrains (and save them for events) and you have some bonus resources stats from your museum, it’s easy to level the buildings.

Put in the work and reap the benefits.

My post was constructive for devs, its about the relative quantity of the buildings that are being given as instant upgrades. The ones with more buildings need more days, and the ones with less buildings need less days. Doesn't mean the instant upgrades aren't appreciated, but does mean i may leave the forums now, life's too short for this.

Beware, there are guys here who used to downplay any post or suggestion.

If you make a polite request/suggestion, even if it's a valid one, and doesn't fit to their liking they get annoyed and you are branded as cry baby. As if they/themselves never made any request/suggestion.

This museum event lucky war crafting is a real shame, what are you waiting for to improve it? 300k last time, today more than 100k and barely 3 positions appear in 6% at most, and most of the artifacts WITHOUT any in 6%, a shame! It is the same if the event is not there. It wasn't like that before, I don't know what they did but go back to how it was before many artifacts DID appear with several lines at 6%, fix it!

Hi Lezley, I must admit that the second post I got your point, the first I didn't really. More words sometimes help!
I have had to speed through certain upgrades in order to free up the citizens to use on the instant upgrades. Is it a waste of upgrades or gems? Well maybe, maybe not, as let's face it, you get the building you just upgraded quicker so I guess not really, IMO.
The only instant upgrade I have not managed to use properly was the oil wells as I was just too far behind and was really unwell over the 3 or so days that the event was on. Most annoying! I have really appreciated this event as it has helped with all the building I have little or no interest in upgrading usually (save for markets and mills).

What im doing this week is kicking caravan upgrades off already. I did it by mistake with mills and if it works the same they should instantly finish when the event starts. Use some resources now and refill them, save a bit of looting time once event is active.

I don't ever bother with caravans, farms and oil wells. It is easier to raid others than farm your own resources. You obviously need markets and mills to hold enough resources but the key things to upgrade are attacking things so those buildings and troops. I know some people level up everything but the game is massively weighted in favour of the aggressor so attack is the best way forward.
