Missile Silo Scan - Showing Black Grid over Enemy Base

I just upgraded to a new iPad and now when the missile silo “scans” the enemy base before an attack it covers the whole base in these black grid lines. Funny thing is that I thought I saw the same thing months ago on one of the Dominations live streams when Tin Man was doing a demo. Anyone know the cause and fix for this?

the cause is the space age silo you built. This is intended.
Fix for this is NOT to fill again your silo for normal multiplayer battles.

Thanks wrath child, but I don't think that's it. I've had my space age missile silo for months on my older iPad and it never did that. It scanned, and had a light grey grid that didn't actually obscure anything. This only begun once I upgraded my iPad.
