One group in Nexon sits in their corner of the building, "brain"storming how to make ppl climb the medal ladder. They have an Eureka moment and give significant boost to the victory chest, league rewards etc. And it works... A lot of ppl start climbing the medal ladder tempted by these rewards.

Then in a different part of the Nexon building a group is "brain"storming on how to make defense harder, less stalemate wars and not at least; how to make players spend more $ on Troop cards; Their Eureka moment is the missile silo.

So now everyone is dropping their medals to get to the lower leagues and the dead bases... Because if there is one thing we all need, it is NTG for coalitions. I do not have the statistics, but I am pretty sure that over 3/4 of all players at level 200 and up is playing Dominations because of the war day.

Getting 50 NTG over 2 days in the higher leagues have gone from challenging fun to plain impossible without spending insane amount of crowns on retraining and $ on troop cards. This is not sustainable over time.

Looking at the over-all picture makes you want to slap your forehead and go "Duh"!...

idk how, but they should cut coalition cost by 50%, new university leader, library research, i don't care.

the new leader's mile stone to give 1 random NTG is a real joke, and it means whoever implemented this idea knows nothing about this game, or he is a gunpowder age player who's coalitions cost 2-3 NTGs each, so he thought an extra random 1 NTG is cool enough.

it's insane how lvl 7 coals require 18 NTGs each, nobody plays that much to collect them, and nobody has to be forced to aim for 5* to get decent chance of NTGs in MP, and now with the victory chest and league boat full of crap, it's even much worse to stay in low leagues cuz since the update not a single NTG i got neither from the boat nor the chest

Yep, I like the attempt at creating incentives to keep medals high (better rewards and troops cards), but getting enough NTG is really really tough now. If you war consistently, there is no way to get the required NTG with anything less than 4 hours of playing a day, which is pretty insane.

im lv 243 max white walls and yes I can say NTG is super painful to get. I ALWAYS has no place to spend my gold/foods and need to grind 2-3 hours just for the war NTG. No fun

I think a lot of issues like these could be solved by reasonable training time for all attacking units and making the training blessing apply to planes as well. We should be able to retrain all troops/tactics/generals in a max of 30 minutes total without blessings.

If I completely agree with this statement more than any other in this thread. Troop training AND tactic training times need to decrease (even more so with the blessings) especially with the AIRSTRIP TROOPS. I am an avid daily player and I hate having to waste crowns to train my aircraft which are still not affected by the training blessing.

That's why I stopped upgrading my coalitions. I'd rather get 5-10% less effect from a coalition that costs me 6 NTG less than not being able to use them at all. Unfortunately there is no way to go back, so the upgrade in this case is actually a downgrade for players that didn't think ahead.

I made a suggestion last year that you should be able to choose what level coalitions you wanted to use up to the level you’ve researched. So if you’ve researched level 5 Aztecs you can choose levels 1,2,3,4 or 5 depending on the number of NTGs you had available and the strength of your opposition.
I think it would completely solve the issue of ‘having’ to raid for X number of NTGs per war and would see more people fully upgrading their coalitions because there is no downside to doing so

Brilliant idea. Simple and brilliant.
I think people will be happy to go to war with some level of coalition if they can't get the highest level they want.

They finally changed the dock so that it no longer penalizes the player for upgrading it. Perhaps they can eventually do the same for coalitions. The NTG cost needs to be capped, or at least allow you to choose which level you want to buy.

i still havent used the dock...

current expeditions: 4 workers each; 1 level 2 legionary army and 1 diamond/ 1 level 2 greek fire thrower army and 1 wall blessing.

Both take 1d 14 hrs

Thanks Manifesto it seemed like a no-brainer to me when I first suggested it but alas nothing from Nexon.
Like you say people would likely want to go to war with something rather than nothing if they can’t get the NTGs they need but also there are times, due to weak opposition, when I dont want to waste my NTGs on a level 6 coalition but would like to set level 3’s instead, currently its all or nothing. Silly!

I completely agree with Tower.
Just when we thought they took one step ahead to make NTG / Trade Goods / Higher Leagues / Medals meaningful.... they immediately took 2 steps backward. a) They nerf the League boat & Victory Chest and start throwing crap stuff (i dunno which "HONCHO" came up with this game breaking idea. b) they introduce silo. before the Silo, I was in Dynasty. After that im now in Empire 3.

1. When I know that at higher leagues almost 8/10 bases have silos, what's my chances to win a MP battle?
2. Why should I stay at higher leagues, when making trade goods / NTG is almost impossible?
3. When I lost MP battles and dropped down to Empire 3 league, I get crap league reward from the boat (1healing, 1level 6 elite companion army, 1level 6 ceasars legion)? Why should I accept this when the boat is supposed to give trade goods / NTG. Why are you so volatile with the aspects of the game we signed up for?

If I drop down, you give me shitty rewards from league boat and victory chest ( dont you think if you gave an option of 1trade good / 1NTG & 1 of your crap ideas, would have been better), If I move up, cant get NTG or 5star victories. So what is the way out? I have spent 1/5th of my pay per month on your game for this??????

Being ambitious is fine but being over ambitious makes you greedy and then you loose your mettle. I cant do more than 1 or 2 MP attacks with 1 training blessing...so why pay for these type of shitty ideas????
