Museum tutorial bug (freeze)

When I was going through the tutorial and declined to spend the crowns to upgrade, as the tutorial slyly suggests, museum menu became unresponsive. The old guy came on and said congrats, despite me not spending the crowns. I could not exit the museum screen and had to force close and restart the game.

Requiring the player to spend crowns in the tutorial is just stupid, but not surprising.

Have you even looked at the stuff in the museum? It’s actually pretty useful. Also It didn’t force me to spend crowns on it I hit repair and it started the work.

After you repair it, it will ask you to spend crowns to upgrade your first artifact.

Do you happen to have a screenshot of what stage that was? I quickly tried to replicate it and wasn't able to get it to freeze. I have a 2nd account I can attempt with.

No screenshot, but it was where it made you upgrade an artifact.

Also, when you upgrade the museum to level 2, it forces you to buy the 1-artifact craft pack. There is no way to decline this and save your artifacts for the 5-pack. Very poor design. I'm forced to make a sub-optimum purchase.

Mcnasty not yet and yes Im jumping the gun but a forced crown usage to start progress is ridiculius and very bad way to implement a new feature of the game.

I upgraded my first artifact and it didn’t force me to use crowns to finish it. It’s upgrading right now. Takes 1 hour

It doesn't force you to, but if you don't have the goods, which you probably don't if you just built it, it directs you to use crowns.

I just tried again on my second account and got the same error. It's when you go to buy the first artifact pack. If you have 0 pieces, as you do when you construct the museum, it directs you via an arrow to purchase the artifact pack for 100 pieces. Having 0, it asks if you want to spend crowns. When you click no, old guy come back on and says congrats, and then it freezes. I took a screenshot, but it keeps saying invalid file when I try to upload.

When I restart the game, it magically gives me 500+ pieces and I can buy it. Perhaps there's another bug where when you first construct it, it doesn't give you the free pieces.
