My best player left the game today :(

I need to vent here... I set up my alliance last April when the game had its major release. I invited many friends who played with me on a previous game and was delighted when many of them came and actually liked this game. I also was happy to make new friends who were drawn to my alliance because of the name. Many have lost interest and left the game... I understand. But I have a core group of people who over the months worked very hard building a good base and solid gameplay. By far the one who worked the hardest and is the best player we have just quit today. The game crashes have been nonstop for him and he decided that after so many times enough was enough. The last couple of days he has been writing to customer service every time his app crashed in the middle of winning a battle. They banned him from writing them again. This was a slap in the face. Especially since he spends money pretty regularly. He deleted the app and is asking for a full refund from Apple. He had become a good friend over the months we've been playing. Losing him will be a big loss to our alliance because we are not only losing a friend but also we are losing very competitive ally that will be hard to replace. Can't you peeps at BHG and Nexon see what you are doing to people? Isn't this supposed to be fun? We are tired of all the excuses. Treat your customers right and fix the game!

Hi Gail, I understand your frustration. Like all release with this game there has always been bugs and nerfs that has angered the player base. There will always been an initial uproar and many players quit out of frustration. I not defending BHG but things are gotten better. I remember the days when the forum was spam constantly, no mods and no response from company at all. But now the forum seems more vibrant, more engagement from BHG especially Iron Angel. With every major updates there will alway be problems. Let the dust settle. I am sure the developers are running around like headless chicken trying to firefight all the bugs that are coming through. CS are probably been bombarded with hate and flame by an angry mob. It is out of CS hands, they can't fix the problem and they probably never played the game.
It would be good if someone from BHG would provide an update on what the developers are currently working on and better coaching of CS before each update on how to handle complaints.

BTW, if Cat still want to play and has access to a PC he can try install Bluestack and play via an emulator, have not had any problems with the game crashing on it yet.

I'm with you 100%. Every update till this point has caused people in our alliance to finally give up and quit. Since this update was released we had our very first recruit to the alliance quit along with another of our top players. This time around it was the training blessing nerf that finally made them give up. I know Nexons dosnt care how bad thier game has become. All I can can imagine is that they are not looking to host this game too long. It feels like they are going to nerf this game into oblivion, while keeping some players around with the false promise of an alliance war that never came.

The training blessing nerf has not been too bad. On my main account I am playing Chinese, so never had the benefit of 1 min rebuilds. But I am still don't 3-5 minute battles and encountering no opponent found less, hopefully I'll be reaching dynasty league soon.

I agree Yellowmar. I used the training blessing for the first time - after it went to an hour - and manage 6-8 battles each hour - and that's with multiple units needing rebuilds - archers, infantry, sometimes tanks, sometimes cannons. It's all relative but still do-able.

Try having your alliance leader literally go "f**k it!" and leave the game. He got fed up with all the bugs and cheaters and felt the game was not worth his time. I personally still love the game but some things in this update have been a little frustrating.

Thanks for all the kind words. Frustration levels are high right now. But I'm still hoping it'll get better. The game has so much potential I'd hate to miss out on what it could become. Just sad Cat won't be with us to see it too.

My game crashes all the time too. I´ll give it a bit more time, but it´s terribly frustrating.

That sucks pretty bad. As an alliance leader myself I wondered what happens when you click that leave button. I'm guessing it disbands the whole alliance?

Two of our most active players are about to quit due to the recent crash issues introduced, too. Its frustrating to hear about their constant stories of the game crashing on attacks. I had thought the last update would fix for them, since ios9 fixes were listed, but its done nothing.

I reckon most alliances probably would disband. At first we had a few people abandon ship etc but we're a strong alliance so we got through it. It helped that the alliance was left in great hands. Our new leader is actually better than our last.

The recent crash issue is obviously an unintended consequence of the update so hardcore Domi fans should stick with it. I suspect people are quitting because of a long list of ongoing issues and the latest crash issue is simply their 'last straw'.

I'm sure this can be fixed - we just need to be patient.

Same here, we try to keep the spirit up, but it is like swimming up a river with your hands tied on your back at the moment.

1 already left, a couple lay low until better times, at least one cannot enter his base at all.

Looking at myself, I notice I play a lot less then before the update.

I need a full hour of nothing to start a TB, then I may get 10 battles in that hour for 1 medal (but due to no opponents the number is more around 7), but stopping overnight usually means losing 20 medals.

I also notice that the more I gain medals, the more I seem to loose.
If I do not play, and let myself be attacked without attacking myself, I loose 1 medal most of the time, As soon as I run a TB and gain more then 5, I am punished for it with a -10 or higher.

Some issues may have been fixed, but many more has been added...
Gameplay / fun is lower then ever.

Hmm I feel this way sometimes too... That's when I put my iPad down for a time and cool off. There will come a time when I'm away from it long enough where I won't come back. I think those who don't rage quit are experiencing this.

Sorry abput your team member leaving especially under those circumstances. I love the game and think it has a lot of potential, but too many issues has lead me to stop paying for crowns. I normally would purchase twice a month but stopped after last month. The cheating, point system, lack of alliance wars, and matching system has worn thin on me. Right now Im barely holding on.

I did it once, but my recollection is that I demoted myself first. It was a really great group, but I regretted taking the leadership spot. I needed to move on and it was a good choice.

I play a lot less recently, as well. In fact, I used some crowns (remaining from reaching empire) to start a 5 day treaty. It's a nice break. And since I have to recalibrate my offense due to all the changes, it helps to let the upgrades move along (tanks and zeps, which I didn't use or want pre-update).
