New account - Error 501

I tried to start a new account and have run into a problem. I started the game and reached the tutorial but had to jump away from the game so closed it. When I returned the game just tells me that it can’t log in and gives a 501 error. It might be stuck because I didn’t complete the tutorial.

Reinstalling the game didn’t fix it. Would resetting my iPad fix it? I don’t want to reset my device unless it definitely will work.

The number is a common http status code.
Errors between 500 and 599 are purely internal server problems ... there is nothing you can do to fix this.

Oh! That’s sad to hear.

The weird thing is that I have been able to create a new account on my iPhone since. They share the same Game Center account. It mentioned another account had been started and asked if I wanted to replace it, which I did. So, I have a new account that I can access from my phone but not my tablet now. Still the same error message.

I contacted customer support but they haven’t been able to help me, unfortunately. They said the account I’m playing on my phone is connected to my Game Center account but it still won’t log in on my iPad. Not sure what else I can do now. Even tried resetting my iPad just to be sure.

O estranho é que consegui criar uma nova conta no meu iPhone desde então. Eles compartilham a mesma conta do Game Center. Ele mencionou que outra conta havia sido iniciada e perguntou se eu queria substituí-la, o que eu fiz. Então, tenho uma nova conta que posso acessar do meu telefone, mas não do meu tablet agora. Ainda a mesma mensagem de erro.

Como você conseguiu criar uma nova conta e não aparecer sua antiga vila? Já tentei criar outro Apple ID, mas minha antiga vila sempre aparece. O que devo fazer?

I asked customer support to delete my original account from their servers, since I didn’t play it anymore due to not enjoying the later stages of the game.

For anyone that runs into the same issue, customer support were able to fix the issue in the end. They adjusted the account attached to my iPad and it then signed in and asked if I wanted to load my village.
