New bug and unsatisfactory response by Nexon

During the last discount event for heavy tanks I decided to finally upgrade them from mk1 to mk2. I spent 40k oil in doing so. Yesterday morning I woke up and found that despite the upgrade having been completed that the heavy tank had reverted back to mk1. After contacting Nexon support they confirmed that this had occurred on my account and compensated me 80,000 oil (the cost that it would take to upgrade the mk1 heavy tank with no oil). They said that it was impossible to put the upgrade back though and that I was out of luck on the eight days of armory upgrade time I lost out on. I opened another support ticket suggesting that a fix would be to provide the 1,257 crowns necessary to instantly upgrade the unit in addition to the 80k oil. This solves both issues and doesn't leave me screwed on the time element (absolutely care about the time far more than the oil, I am a high level atomic player whom has spent about $100 over the past 2 years on the game).

I am not usually one to complain but not making an issue such as this right makes me not want to spend any more money on the game.

Am I being unreasonable here or should Nexon take responsibility for the bug that caused me this issue?

They should have given you the oil and the crowns from the start. Just another example of how bad CS is in this game.

CS's moto is "the customer is always wrong". You are not unreasonable, and common sense says you should get both the oil and crowns if they are unable or unwilling to upgrade your HTs to the level you spend time and resources doing so.

this happened once on a general of mine. they demoted it and flat out refused to give any compensation so i lost time and 41k oil.

I also have troops/planes/tactics disappearing from training queue, cancelled building upgrades, happening so frequently now it is pointless to even bother with CS

I was planning on buying more crowns this week. I think i'm done spending money on this game though. If I'm going to randomly lose progress because of poor customer service and a lack of sufficient testing it's not a product worth any more of my funds.

even if they do end up giving you the crowns, i wouldnt waste your money on this game. If, and thats a big IF, they start to fix this game properly and remove the p2w focus, it would become worth spending some money on in the future though.

i guess the don't have the authority to compensate such high amounts of crowns unless it's due to a failed purchase transaction or something, feels so bad to lose 8 days of waiting i really feel sorry for u man

That's what happens when customer service is outsourced to a third party. Alas, let's hope those plucky upstarts at Nexon can afford to take care of such matters in-house one day.

Well, they have to make money somehow. I don't mind the p2w function. I do mind glitches that hinder my progress and poor solutions to the problems. I'm still absolutely livid though. Would like a mod to address this.

sure they need to make money, but they need to EARN that money and in this games current state, they are not earning any money.
