NEW EVENT leaked: French consulate, details inside

Ok, so I think I have catched one of these weirds bugs lol that allows people to leak things before they are released... I play the game in Spanish, and my Diamond Mine, now is a "French Consulate". It still does what the Diamond Mine it suppossed to do, but the description reads something like this (translating from Spanish):

"French consulate multiplies by 3 your donation capacity, and gives you an army of 'voltigeurs' (what?) every 6 hours"

So what do you think it will do? The sentence is confusing also in Spanish... I don't understand what 'multiplies by 3 your donation capacity' means, I first thought it will increase the ally gate capacity x3, but that's way too broken and will destroy the game for a week... Moving from 24 to 72 ally gates... No way. So then I realised it probably means that instead of being able to donate a max of 6 units, you can now donate 18 units, what seems ok as it won't affect the game that much, only that now everyone can receive more British UU in a row for example, and better for donation quests / achievements.

The army of voltiguers, no idea what that means and how will it be...

But one thing is sure, this quests is gonna be about donating! So have your ally gates and your friends ready.

(Of course it finally can be that this isn't the next event, but I can promise that it really says that on my Spanish game, and I see no reason for that unless it's a leak of the next event...)

my diamond mine is still a diamond mine but the next event sounds interesting. the votigeurs must be a new unit that you can get every X hours or be like ninjas that you can train at a dojo/barracks. are you sure the sentence was 'multiply by 3'? maybe it adds 3 to our alliance troop limit

Maybe it means it adds 3 not multiplies it by 3.

Voltigeurs is a French word for "light infantrymen".

It can also mean "acrobats" but that's unlikely in this case! They might be acrobats with AK-47s though, that would be fun...

Correct Wicked Odie. Current max no troops that can be donate is 6. New 6 + 3.

I should have clicked on my mine, i have read "french consulate" several times now when checking how long it needs to refill. But never checked further.

Sounds like a nice event for those in bigger alliances, but not so useful for those with only 10 semi active members, so...

I assume any new event which features a discount on upgrading a certain building type can only be launched separately, so we're in for a bit of a wait?

It really says multiply by 3, in Spanish, but I really think is that instead of being able to donate 6 units max per time, now you can donate 18 units, that isn't a big change that will alter game balance too much, online now that you can fill requests with full foot troops, but since before you were able to fill it with tanks for example, I don't think isn't that much of a change, so I really think that's the sense of the sentence and that's what that building will do, and the event is gonna about donating and/or receiving troops.

doubt its 3x since for higher age bases that would bump us from 24 to 72! That would be kinda out of control...

So... The event wasn't finally this one, 3 events we have had already, and I'm a bit surprised since I can say for sure I had that in my base... Doesn't feel like an aleatory glitch, lol...

So either it was something they have planned but that for something reason they rejected, or it's gonna be finally next one! After all, we have had many events by now, but not anyone of donating / requesting... My bet is 70% this is the next event.

And what it will do, will be, that instead of being able to donate to each player 6 troops, you will be able to donate 18, so you will be able to donate more shooters in general. Gate capacity won't be altered, will remain the same.

We shall see soon after this wolves event Maybe devs read my leak, and wanted to let me as a liar!

I claimed my French Consulate. Here are the details. It behaves a bit like a colosseum, in that the Voltigeur army is a tactic that you have to claim, and you can only have one at a time. So, if you were saving the three armies you earned on the way to completing the task, use them before claiming the consulate. You get one army immediately, and another every 6 hours.

I have used the armies in attacks and to be honest they are a bit underwhelming. Nothing like as useful as the B-17 hangar, my favorite event to date.
