Nexon acquires DomiNations developer Big Huge Games

Any official word on this news? Does this mean BHG will exclusively develop for the free-to-play mobile market? I always held a special regard for their past RTS games on PC. Congrats to BHG on their success with DomiNations

I do hope good comes out of this for both parties as well as the players. I'm always skeptical when big publishers with microtransaction business models buy out small dev studios.

Guess BHS is going to handle the final attempt to milk as much money out out of the game before to many honest players leave out of frustration Because of the completely unfair, medal system, rampant cheaters, forced shutdown exploit, constent game nerfing and player lockout policies.

Nexon has the most customer unfriendly came policies of any game I have ever played. Just the tought of locking paying customers out of the game so they can get that our bases can be attacked and slow our progress is pathetic. And that's just one of the many game slowing methods they use.

Yet you curiously seem to be always still here, lol.

Seems a lot more about you than about the company imo, lol, because if I were to just being crying about how bad a thing is, I just stop doing it and that's all.

So many games online I started playing and I dropped not liking how they turned... And a lot of hours lost? Man, they are lost anyways, it isn't like we all do something way important here playing games... Lol. So maybe you should consider it and stop crying and telling other players how bad the game is, a game you can't keep talking of, LOL.

If those number are true they sure made a lot of money. So there delay tactics of not addressing major bugs, ignoring customer concerns and supporting the cheating community seems to have payed off for them.

It should be no surprise, No one ever said you can't make money by taking advantage and manipulating your customer base in a freemium game.

His theory is he has some kind of obligation to stay and let others know what's really going on. He's a humanitarian apparently.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if he would put his efforts into a more worthy cause? Maybe fighting for people who are really oppressed and have no choice in the matter. Fighting a big company like this with words is a pointless waste of time. He should use his talents to actually help people who need it.

Do you play any other games? I play many and have tried anything worth looking at, I have not seen any game without cheaters. This is especially relevant in new games like Dominations because they have not been around long and on top of that they constantly add new content. Nobody is saying it's not an issue or even their handling of it is not an issue...they can definitely do better and probably will get better with more experience and app stability in the future. I think many of us actually agree with what your original intentions were, but you've gone off the deep end and lost sight of your mission. Why everyone hates you is because you act like you are above everyone else, somehow you know/see more than we can. Fact is, we all experience the same app but have a different tolerance for the issues...most sane individuals with less tolerance just leave the game and move on to the next shiny game they find. You, on the other hand, linger and annoy everyone else who is trying to make it work. And as far as cheaters go, guys I play with are seeing far less of them and that's the similar story I'm reading here on the forums. Bigger issue now is the crashing IMO.

Gail you are confusing my criticism and dislike of the company (Nexon)who is ruining the game by supporting a large cheating community within the game while ignoring its paying cudtomers concerns, to me hating the game. I don't hate the game, I play it all the time and I'm trying to do my part to ge the game back on the right track and off of the cheater track Nexon is on.

Btw, if you are tired of me posting on here once or twice a week imagine how I feel having deal with cheaters ever time I play the game. And not just me but hundreds of other advanced players that you never hear about because they don't post it's in this forum.

To be fair, I have been seeing much less cheating in the past couple of months, so you have to give them credit. I just wish they were more stringent in banning players with crown-hacked max walls and perma-banning past offenders still on the leaderboard. Also they could be a litter quicker in dealing with cheating reports we send in but hopefully this will give them more resources to do so.
