I've (purposely) dropped from 2500 to below 1300 last night - this afternoon l log back on and I'm back up to 1460!! At first l thought Nexon's medal glitch had reversed itself but then l checked my battle logs ..... not sure what l was looking at but then ........ defensive wins!!! Seven of them!!

I'd forgotten what they looked like!!! And l got crowns from each win !!

It felt like being reunited with a long lost dog - there was confusion, then recollection, then acceptance, then tears!!!

im on 2800 and i dont get defensive wins anymore...1 maybe every 20 defenses
People just ram tc with french tanks with protect!

Alright for you Ravenlord. Had just booked two weeks on the sliver coast. Nice little villa. Cheap tank hire. All the cider gold and oil you can eat and drink when what happens? All I get is defensive wins lol .. (OH wait cept the WW win last night).. you can climb medals from all the grinders farming lol

You can do it easily. Just next til you find a juicy medal base then make sure your tc is exposed. More often than not you'll only lose 1 medal when you get attacked and you'll get 8 hrs peace. l was averaging 17 medal wins that took me to 2800 easily.

the only reason I stay at 2900 is to enter the dynasty league and claim the 2000 crowns from the league ranking achievement!

I plan to drop down to the silver leagues once my walls are level 10. About 25 pieces to go. The league bonus is helping me get them done more quickly. I'm getting increasingly more bored of this game so will play far less frequently, as currently I raid more than I'd like to just to upgrade walls and keep medal count around the same figure. I may not even finish level 10 walls and just drop. Btw, I'm still in IA and don't even find the idea of advancing to GA appealing. That says something about how I feel about the game now.

I never thought I'd say this but I'm finding Clash of Clans far more fun and playing that more often these days.

Incidentally I get lot of 1/-38 bases, but rarely any juicy medal base . It has really been a grind. Getting 5 medals is like lucky. Getting 10-15 medals once a week is kinda norm.
More problematic is that i lose 10-15 medals even after keeping tc/FC outside .
Whole of the last week passed in just maintaining the medals around 2250, and just now I got attacked and brought down to 2242....sigh.

I found a sweet spot at 2300. I was able to hover there with one attack in the morning (get many medals), log off and get attacked with resulting PT (for -1 or -2 medals). I repeated this again at night. Every now and then you get taken for 10+ medals but I was averaging 10-15 medals forward, 1 medal back.
Admittedly I nexted a lot but I got plenty of 10+ bases and even the occasional 20+.

Just keep playing - and nexting!!

Incidentally I'm having some trouble with my new tanks. The new Global oil must be like catnip to their new purring engines - they're so damn quick! I'm not sure if Nexon have improved their speed but they're all over the damn place - they're so quick, towers are even missing them!! (ok, maybe that's an exaggeration .....)

It's like they're so quick and so powerful and so tough they be like ''Shooters? We don't need no stinking shooters ....!'' as they vroom past!!
