Option to change name in game

Customer support told me it's not possible to change my in game name and that they'll only change it for players that left it at the default 'Leader'. Clash of Clans has the option to at least change it once in the settings and then change it again through customer support if there's a good reason.

It would be useful to have the option to change it at least once.

I would even pay for the option to change my name. I never imagined that 8 months later I would still be playing this game. Though I have no idea as to what I would change it to.

We had a "John Hawkins" show up in our group one day. It's likely that I scared him off by making too much fun of his medal and matching systems.

I may have to go for "Tim Train".

I agree with this. A single, one time only, can't be re-done name change

I agree. When I first started this game I had no idea I wouldn't be able to change my in game name. It would've been nice if I knew about that in advance, otherwise I would've given more thought on choosing my name.

Yeah, I've heard from lots of people who chose a name quickly and later regretted it. I think giving them another chance would be a good idea.
