I’m a offensive player and I chose Romans but I don’t like the troop and the ability is not that good. These are nation I think are good German, Korean, and British. The top players use Germans. And koreas and the British have amazing ranged troops with a decent ability. Also should I rush to medieval to do this?

this one might help:
https://forum.nexonm.com/forum/nexon...of-the-nations

in a sense romans and germans have similar flexability ... size or dps.
in practice i found myself using a lot of tanks anyway, so i switched to french and i find it the most fun. the retrain speed bonus is not to be underrated.

i think you won't find the british to shine till at least IA, and korean seems overrated unless you are elite enough to not need advice.

British : Best offensive nations, +1 range shooter is overpowered compare with any other perk
German : Best defensive nations. even with 3 defensive coalition, you still able to beat a medium opponent with 15% buff elephant archers

imo age-upgrades are a good place to use crowns, especially GA/AA where they take 10/12 workers (ugh!)
consider opportunity cost, where you might spend them instead; perhaps you would crown some offensive upgrade in MA which would relieve frustration at being underpowered. that might prompt 4 days of patience. but there's no huge mistake here if you're ready to see MA.
enjoy being in that age .... imo you're in the really fun ages. starting with IA things get so big and long to build that playability suffers.
(obviously a criticism from love as i am playing AA)

Rush to the next age only if you really have to, I don't think it's worth it. Save those crowns for unit upgrades or quick retraining.
Of course, if you like attacking then go with the French and you won't need to rush your training. :)
Germans, British/Korean, French are all good but only really shine once you hit Industrial. Until then it's mostly about raiding to get the resources to get to Industrial. .Industrial is when the game gets harder but the units are much better for better gameplay.
In my opinion.

I have a lot of crowns over 2000 so I won’t rush but should get even the economic upgrades too then upgrade or just the defense and offensive upgrade, then when I get to the next age should I go for British or German?

Just upgade your offensive units first, then your defenses at your leisure. Only upgrade your mills/markets as necessary, in order to upgrade your units and buildings.
Basically, upgrade your most important things first. You're an offensive player, so upgrade your attacking troops.

perhaps you should save the crowns rushing to MA ... and instead allow yourself to try both nations? i think that's totally reasonable.
as manifesto said ... the differences between nations are more clear starting IA so don't expect to have a clear answer on which you prefer right away.
however, i understand needing to know *right now*. :)
based on my experience playing as german ... go british. imo german has a playability problem stacking 'fury' with other blessings, it's another thing to think about that presents an annoying burden in the long run. however, while playing german it was the *best*; the fast fury is great....so it really depends on you.
british pigeonholes you into a range strategy which is it's playability downfall..but if you are good at that and like it, the consensus is that it's the overpowered favorite

I play as British (AA) and Germans (almost IA). The germans are more fun in Gunpowder and EA because the quicker rallies made the gameplay more controllabe.
Having said that, the british made winning easier. ;)

But we all can agree the British and German troops are MUCH better than the Roman one

i think romans are comparable if you use the extra troops creatively, wisely. but i don't know from experience.
in terms of consensus among players ppl seem to be pro-british over german/roman.

Romans is fine in early ages but also very late ages where you can use a Heavy Tank army and have plenty of troop space left for cleanup troops.
Otherwise, British and German are better than Romans because the unique units and bonuses are better.

I play as Romans (Global age) and i can tell you that their unique troop really isnt anything special. I am a Heavy Tank hitter so having the extra spaces in Romans is nice. But even if you wanted to use heavy tanks in your attack i wouldn't say that you would have to switch to Romans. Germans, with the reduce rally time and extra boost on attack could serve you well with heavy tanks too. Its a shame that we cant try out a different nation at least once without spending the crowns. Something like a one time try for 24 hours with a different nation.

If you wish to be quite immune to balance updates and changes, you might benefit from playing as the Germans. If you need to switch troop compositions or attacking strategies due to balance changes in the game, the Teutonic Fury damage boost of 15% applies to all troops.
But, as others have said, it might help to wait till you advance through a few ages before switching to a nation that would suit your play style.

British: Extra Loot for MP, +1 ranged rifleman for wars,
French: Quicker Training Time for MP, Good tanks for wars,

are most balanced nations for both types of gameplay
If you are looking only at war: British, Germans, Romans, French, Koreans: you would be fine with any of the above.

I would recommend stay away from Japs and Greeks. Chinese bonus is also very mediocre.

Chinese is the best nation for players who don't pay

though not as good as British, Chinese still good in shooter and 1 more tank
And +1 worker is really good one

Chinese is the nation that gives you the fastest progress, provided you have the mountain of free time necessary to play and loot everything you need.

Meanwhile, British, and especially French, are the best for free players who don't have as much time in their hands to loot.

This is when the forums are at their best, when people help each other with good advice (especially mine :) ).
Although, we may have made your job harder than easier, Dan65y. :D
