When both teams reach a perfect score, the average destruction is 100% and it's an automatic stalemates.

Sandbagging forced me to split my alliance into 2 separate alliances. It's completely ruining the game. We have a strong organically grown alliance and going up against 20 AA-IA members with a dozen or so iron ageis terrible. For lack of a better term it sucks. It needs to be addressed. This is a game about war is it not? And they've ruined war at this point.

As for stalemates I honesty believe there is a simple fix. Award a half a star or a half point for defended attack. Would be hard to tie then I imagine.

Rant over! Haha

At least have the last 10 - 15 do it instead because sandbagging heavily relies on having weak accounts on the bottom of the list

To eliminate stacking and prevent/limit stalemates, a simple solution could be done. To calculate wins in a war, ADD UP ALL STARS WON not only the 5* on a base. This would mean non stacker players still have a chance to 'outstar' alliances with stacked bases (the dummy accounts can barely win stars at all). This should be EASY to code. ADDING UP OF ALL STARS IN A WAR....

I agree glory is terrible bad idea all together, this game was way better before glory and as mentioned some well cheat, others play strong and lose to the cheats and then others have to play the system just to get a match , before big alliances meaning high levels fought only high-level and mids fought mids and lows fought lows , rare stalemates, seldom a perfect score and every war was exciting.
i would like to see a class ranking system like division 1/2/3/4 for different ages in wars thst would push teams to move up to the top and all would have a pool for wars thst would be fair and war seach for high level alliances would take days

Jju you always have good posts and this is another. I agree with most of it, the only thing I dont agree with is that sandbagging is a result of stalemates. This is only partially true. I think what you are are exposed to is like this at the very very top, but if you move down a bit in overall war weight ranks....you will see the amount of alliances that sandbag for easy matchups is crazy, and it has absolutely nothing to do with worries about stalemates or wait times, only manipulation of matchups for easy wins. In fact, I would say alliances like this far outweigh the top 20 or so top advancement/organization alliances like Rats and others that are put in a nearly impossible situation if they dont sandbag.

If given the opportunity, many people will exploit any loophole to get an unfair advantage and sandbagging at these slightly lower ranks is everywhere (nearly 100% of teams we face now). To this note, I actually think the proposed solution will get rid of many of these teams, it will stop rewarding the behavior and they will be rewarded more for going in normal weight. But, it does nothing to address the plight of those top teams that are unfairly given options of 2d+ wait times, stalemates, etc as their only option for glory rankings if they go in full weight.

It sounds almost like an impossible task for Nexon, but they really have to solve stalemates and sandbagging at the same time, otherwise its completely unfair to one side or another. Im willing to give this solution a bit of a chance because I know it will help my team, but Im very aware of the fact it will do nothing, or even hurt the teams who deserve to have the top 10 spots on the leaderboard. And that cannot be. I'd rather they waited to put this in, until they had a better comprehensive solution that helped more teams, as long as the wait wasnt too much longer and there was better communication.

Not so, our developers at Big Huge Games have been working on solutions. These just happen to take some time.

stacking and cheaters are driving people away from war and eventually the game, why spend money on crowns if you can't have a fair and balanced game, these desperado stackers and cheats are ruining it for most of us by just trying to get their name on a leader board that we all know means nothing, i take my hat off to them for mucking up a perfectly good game, and a big thumbs down to the developers as we are seeing no action from them, this has been going on a long long long time now, time to feed us some progress on these issues before it is to late, what is being done when can we expect a result ? you keep saying it takes a lot of effort and time to fix and test new upgrades, i say with all the cash you are making hire better developers and more of them and fix it fast

One more thing that is annoying and is ruining the game is all these extra troops that can be bought, from expeditions, from air drops and so on. All these extra troops should not be allowed to use in wars. Especially not the bought ones. They should only be allowed for regular battles.

With all due respect, there was one official post about 2 months ago acknowledging it, and then a post last week with a solution that doesnt really address much of the problem, and pretty much dead silence otherwise. The communication from Nexon leaves players with the opinion Green Master has, and given this has been the hottest community topic for 4 months, I can understand exactly why.

Helix, I think you made a great point that isn't talked about much. With so many events and ways to get or buy troops, hard work and skill is less and less rewarded. Long run, this may do more to ruin the game than sandbagging.

I think you are the right track here. Rewards for defense and penalties for non-attacking bases might make a big dent in sandbagging. Combine that with a tweek to the rating system with a little more weight on the top bases and it might resolve the problem.
