Storm and Siege Event: Oct 15-Oct 22 2015

Soldiers and ranged siege train 5x faster all week long! Fortune favors the bold, so don't miss out on your chance to dominate your opponents by bringing these hard-hitting troops! (Event lasts from 3 AM UTC 10/15/2015 until 12 AM UTC 10/22/2015.) Soldiers refers to the entire unit line starting with Spearman, Warrior, Soldier, etc (including unique units.) Ranged siege references the entire line starting with Ballista, Bombard, etc.

Funny, but the devs should have fixed the retraining problems first....

having these troops combined with a tb, at the 8 minute issue, you hardly can remove the locking troops which prevent further training...


So, this is again a proof of lack of knowing your own game and the bugs that are in there..

Cool event. It will give more people the opportunity to see how soldiers are useless and how much artillery AI is broken.

I love this! It's not my normal army composition but this encourages me to change tactics and try something new! Also love the reduced training times.
Personally I think an overall reduction in training times should be a permanent addition. It makes me want to play more rather than sit and stare at my phone waiting for my army to finish training.

Love this guys. More of this please! (maybe change units every week or so where training speed and costs are reduced on a rotation basis?)

Good for newbies, but not for us, the veterans. And the most important thing: what about our alliances wars? I dont see anything about them here.

When this event started I was on day one of eight of a barracks upgrade. Being able to whip up a Zerg rush of fusiliers so quickly sure takes a lot of the sting out of having only two barracks available for training. Thanks, devs.

I guess this is one way to wean people off of spamming raiders.

Great idea! German soldiers are retrained in only 7 seconds! And these guys are hard hitters.

this is awesome, why not make these reduced times permanent? everyone loves to battles, and this helps get more fun units on the battlefield.

What's the point of this when I find one opponent maybe only every 5-10 minutes... It got worse since after the event started, too.
