For high ranks either u get matched with hacker maxed out bases or u cant even find opponents, the only solution for the no opponent is to reduce peace treaty duration given at higher ranks, peace treaties shouldnt exceed 2hrs if u get 5 starred or else with the current dur of peace treaties good luck finding some1 to attack

For low ranks specially if u r pre enlightment age the whole brilliant nerfs done to knights and AI destroyed gameplay for u, while Knights spam was devastating for enlightment age, nerfing the should have started from enlightment age upgrade not for lower ages cuz they have no other units to play with.
Also the amount of resources and time needed to upgrade building and specailly walls is so retarded, if u r pre enlightment, retraining ur army takes 30 mins while enlightment takes few secs thanks to training blessing, how unfair!!.

Overall i never seen an update that makes this game better, always harder, have u ever seen a cost of sth getting reduced? No, have u ever seen a unit getting boosted? No, have u ever seen an AI getting fixed? No although it was as simple as rolling their AI back to the point afterwhich it sucked, those are the signs of a game crew who care about customers' money more than the customers themselves.

While I'd like the no opponent problem to be fixed, I really really hope they don't decide to reduce peace treaty duration like you've suggested here.... At higher rank like you're talking about you can expect 10-39 medals gone for most defensive losses (which you can pretty much expect every time your treaty expires), in one night (8 hours) you would then expect 40-156 (!!!) medals gone if you get 5 starred (and good luck to you if you don't and get an even shorter treaty) and that's if you play almost the whole of the rest of the day (no job, no school, no life). If the mode is 1 star per battle won, with training times increased/ training blessing reduced, you would have to play nonstop about half the day to get back to where you were before a rough night of losses. If that's what it takes to even maintain a position once you get into top 200, let alone climb more, I don't think I'd want to play anymore.

I'm in the Medieval Age and I got slaughtered (all 60 troops killed) about 5 times in a row today after being matched with Gunpowder Age players. Each time it takes 30 minutes to rebuild my army. I cannot advance my units, blacksmith or library researches if I cannot win a battle to afford them. I've now dropped my medal count from 500+ down to 200 to see if I can get matched with a player I have a chance against. This is ridiculous, I don't even want to play anymore.

I think the fix for No Opponents is to fix the Force Quit issue. Now on defense your opponent just closes their app if the battle goes against them ... there's no possibility of earning medals from a defense victory. If they fix FQ, players with saavy bases would be breaking their own peace treaties to earn defense medals and then we'd have opponents.

Just keep hitting the NEXT MATCH button until you find a base you can beat.

The "retrain" time for my attacking army just went from 18 minutes, to 65 minutes.
NO changes by me. How does that change make the game more playable?

@Cannibals: completely agree with you: fixing force quit will improve no-opponent situation drastically for the reason you gave.

Reducing peace treaties duration of course should be accompanied by re scaling the amount of medals u lose cuz the frequency of defenses would be higher, its not hard to figure that the huge duration of peace treaties is the main cause of no opponent problem, if i have all my workers busy and my loot full and i get defeated losing 10-20% of my resources and gaining 1+ day of peace i would just set their and get some rest of this game cuz my workers are busy for more than 1 week upgrading and no point of losing my treaty for more loot

Thats what am talking about, a duration of 10-15 mins to retrain ur lost troops in most cases after each battle and 30 mins if u lose ur entire army is so frustrating, training blessing should be available since earlier ages or else other options like reducing training times or weekly event of boosting training times of certain units like the previous week would be the only way to end this boring crap if u r under enlightment age

If they fix force quit issue, they should make failing an attack massively reduce ur medals while losing a defense reduces ur medals by 1 or 2 medals at max with 1-2hr peace treaties so u dont get attacked more than 2-3 times when ur not beside ur mobile

Force quit i like for dropping single troop drop medals, as far loosing troops in great amount from higher player.

Agree: hit next match dont have to attack first loaded; its how I scroll loaded matches find players holding large resources.

Troop rebuilds:

Lost from an average attack may want adjust norm of troop combos, from previous personal best for each player. Especially with adjusted rebalance troopp matchups, my favorite msjority Royall Yeomanry, moved decent together bunched they destroyed what in front of them.

Few losses 20-30 from 90-100 recent access back they move slower shoot in slower burst, taking double lisses from player 12 lvls below me.

Not acceptable troop rebuilds: Having battles where you gain 200-300k each resource; dont use tactics; or mercs, have more 1/2 troops survive gain 5 star victory with bonuses and trade goods.

Either towards end battle or finalizing end of one game crashes. Not only loosing all you earned and saved from not using, instead loose medals, all troops/ all mercs, tactics resources. To have spend more should have too add the increased build time from that.

One thing if happens maybe 1-2 times month, fact good deal players experience more often now sometimes back to back several times. This one topic no way close to new issue, and continues to becoming worse then fixed.

I know the topic is not adressing a new issue but concerning what am saying about train time they already made a great event last week and was very helpful so am suggesting every week we have a x5 train time boost for a certain type of units that changes next week
Concerning no opponent they already looking for a way to deal with it, however, they have to deal with the force quit first then apply any helpful idea that could eliminate this issue as the one am saying by reducing peace treaties at high ranks (since not too many players available to match with as in low ranks) and inturn reduce the amount of medals lost in defenses as a compensation for the increased rate of battles and focus the majority of medals loss on attack failures so if u fail in ur raid ur medals will get wrecked

It only effected two items that where nice to have fast over all they where two worse to heavy defenses stacked wth higher level defense troops

Yeah quick build is nice but while waiting for troops allows for some tactics to be built; most time you can win 5 star with minimal to 1/2 losses. Good alliance with great donations and often, along with mercs can help reduce losses and build times.
