• Superior Councilor Recruitment Sale
There was a visual error on the Superior Recruitment sale showcasing a Purple Recruitment tin that isn't representative of what was being sold. The superior recruitment pack is gold and now reflects as such and we've provided those who purchased from the sale two additional Superior Recruitments! To clarify Superior, Heroic, and Mythic Councilor Recruitments should be a Gold Tin only. Purple Tin will be utilized for another purpose at another time.

After playing Clash of Clans for nearly 3 years it was time for me to move on and find myself a new game to have some fun with. Clash of Clans (Supercell) has only made minor changes to the game in the last 12 months. Lots of longtime players are quitting or at least playing a lot less than normally. I pretty much maxed out my base, hunted cups until I was in the world Top 200 players and built up a top 100 clan called Your Nightmare together with some great people. There was just not much left to do for me in this game. I found Dominations which might seem like a copy of Clash but is exactly what I needed to start playing these kind of games again. With some old school clash friends we started a Your Nightmare clan aswell. I noticed it is hard to make a decent setup for my base and I got raided time after time losing lots of resources and medals. I am not the average farmer. I don't put my Town House outside. Why would I put so much time in farming and improve my base but at the same time never test its progression. So I always look for a base that is able to win defences but also protect resources pretty well. You cant have the best of both worlds in these games but at least try to get close right? After some failed builds I managed to make a Hybrid base I call: The Necklace. Altough I am currently quite high in cups for Medieval farming My base still holds up pretty well. Winning defence a lot of times and resources are hard to take aswell. And this while I am not even close to max out my defences in Medieval aswell. So results should get even better over time while I continue upgrading. This is 'The Necklace' and I will try to add more and more information on how it performs and what the idea behind this base is. Also this base is easy convertible to a full farming base by swapping the TC for one of your wonders. Feel free to comment on my post and share your thoughts. All suggestions on how to improve are always appreciated.

Hmm. Tried to make my post with different paragraphs but it just turns it into one big bulge of text when I post it.

You're posting from your phone, right? It does that. Super annoying. They need to fix that but they don't really fix much anyways. Your base looks nice.

I'll be very happy to take down the 2 exposed Ballistas and wash your base with Knights.
You only see the real problem of the base when your food and gold actually piled up.

Nice base. I would try to take better advantage of the acropolis. Try putting the collosuim closer to it as well as your garrisons and stables.

Now when cavalry received a buff, I'd suggest to care more about your balistas. It's easy to take them both down first and then 6+ cavalry will clear the rest

The Acropolis has nothing to dowith the Colosseum. The Acropolis only affects the stables and garrisons

The Acropolis does buff the colosseum. It doesn't highlight, but if you look at the stats you notice it changes while in the Acropolis area.
