The Replay Bug Excuse

I was attacked by an obvious hacker and reported it to the customer service like a responsible member of the game's community, and I get a copy-pasted reply about the replay not being accurate with no regard given to what I had actually written. The replay isn't an issue when the troops used could not have under any circumstances 5 stared my base. No tactics or troop tactics were used either based on the defense log. I don't care at all about the resources, but this is just insulting.

Troops used is enough to deduce that something went wrong. And by wrong I mean dirty play.

PS. What is your level?

223, but I have done a lot of university research so it is a bit deceiving. Also level 15 walls + research. Those tanks would get stuck for days.

Probably right that there's an issue and I can't see from that picture alone but the troops in the results can just be the troops that were lost. I've watched many a replay on my base as I get raided by MK5 tanks and the end result show only 1 on the list because only one was lost. Always a replay bug somewhere.

The first picture is not from the results screen but from the battle log. These always show the full army that was used.

No Title

Ive had the same issue too, this person used an infantry army without tactics or planes on my fully upgraded IA base (even uni and library), failed in replay (my TC is not open and is guarded by mortars, yet the infantries started next to my tc and obviously died), but showed up as 5 star. Mailed CS immediately, got another copy-pasted response. This is atrocious

A player from our alliance, high level Atomic, got oil raided by 6 infantry in 3 seconds. His refinery was heavily fortified and there is no cosmic chance that 6 infantry can reach it without some sort of exploit, especially in 3 seconds.

And that attacking player was from a Turkish alliance. A lot of coincidences.

Hmm, must have an invisible TH to deploy right inside your base like that.
And I wish I had an aircraft carrier to repair or replenish my planes like that! :D

I experience attacks like this about once a week - and upon reporting them I often get the same, infuriating and generic response as thought the CS recipient had not even bothered reading my message. On one occasion I did write back and told them to read my message and I did get a response requesting further evidence, which I sent and was told that this will be looked into and taken seriously but that was it. There is no evidence to suggest my report was actioned in any way shape or form. The next time, I provided the same level of evidence previously requested and got a generic response... i have now given up bothering.

This cheating has almost driven me from the game, the only comfort I take is that despite cheating the players attack so badly they usually only get 2 or 3 stars and lose all their troops.

I recently saw a player raid my well defended oil with six assassins... The attack was effective as the assassins walked through gates and have enough HP to withstand a few defenders to break through walls and destroy the refinery. This could be what happened in this instance?

Regarding your previous comment, those weren't assassins, they were regular infantry.

I was just 5 starred by someone in World War who used 8 mercenaries, 7 troop tactics, and 6 planes. He was in the global age level 154.

Seems too coincidental these are almost always from Turkish alliances. "turgent alp" is another one, attacks with less than a handfull of rifles and somehow gets 5 stars

I received some strange attacks too, with 15 planes, 5 stars at my base with only raiders, also a Turkish alliance.

This is my opinion, I may be completely wrong, but in my head it makes a lot of sense, and NEXON knows this and uses the inconsistent replay excuse.

They are probably hackers who have found a way to have infinite health.

This game is online, server-side, but not 100%, so some decisions are made on the client. Decisions made on the client are easier to be Hakead because the server will never know what happened, it only receives information.

So apparently they figured out how to increase the health of the troops in large amount (also can be attack power) on the client (android device or IOS). So when the person attacks, his troops have much more health in the client, but the server continues everything normal.

Since the replay uses the server data, and as the troops' health on the server is normal, the replay will attempt to reproduce the attack, using the initial location from which troops are released as well as attack power, health, attack speed , range, etc. but without having these values hacked.

That's why the replay is inconsistent. The replay is reproducing 6 infantry with 1200 health for example, which are killed quickly, but in the client, who was hacked, these 6 infantry have in fact 1200,000 health for example.

The same with airplanes. They found a way to increase the health of airplanes. The hacker uses his planes at will, because he has infinite health, and therefore none of them is destroyed.

But the replay will use real health, so the planes will be destroyed fast. But the replay has to be true to what actually happened (on the client hacked, and the planes were not really destroyed). So the replay uses a sixth, seventh, eighth plane. And suddenly, through replay, you suffered an attack where the guy used 15 planes, 50 infantry, did not get any stars, but shows that the attacker got 5 stars.

Again, I may be completely wrong, but in my view, it makes a lot of sense.
