I am playing mobile MMO´s since many years, maybe as long as they are available. Even, I was playing Dominations from the early beginning - my player number was in the 800k´s and my messenger data told me that I started in November 2014...
...so whatever! I was thinking about what´s the reason for players (like me) starting such a witch-hunt in the official forum?
Why do we denounce other players in this instance and style?
Is it because many of us are investing real bucks to climb up the ladder faster?
Or maybe, it´s because of beeing frustrated that Nexon is not able to fix all this bugs, glitches, exploits, dealing with hackers and cheats all along their gameplay?
Or maybe, it´s a mix of both...?
Fact # 1 is,
that Nexon will never be able to finally stop cheaters and hackers from their game because of the game (server/client) architecture.
Fact # 2 is,
all of us are beta-testers without getting paid. Why should Nexon invest in Q&A as long as they have us...?
Fact # 3 is,
that we are all unpaid employees, acting in a game heretic way, denouncing everyone and everything we can find under the synonym of „suspicious activity“.
Fact # 4 is,
this is how mankind works since the beginning of evolution, meaning if there are no given social rules or sustainable deployment from the leader and/or big player (in this case Nexon), people affect to react as seen.
Fact # 5 is,
Nexon, at least their management and investors knows all about this, and yes, they are clapping their hands about us, because we are the cash cows that are easy to handle, and even more worse...
So, the question is...why don´t we stay together instead of denouncing each other?
Why don´t we force Nexon to react?
The answer is very simple:
It´s much more easier to react as a single and anonymous person (player) instead of buildung a community, forcing the big player (Nexon) for changes.
Ohh, by the way, I was banned for „suspicious activities“, meaning that Nexon was not able to fix my corrupted database since more than 7 months.
So, I think it was easier for them to ban me permanently...
Anyway, I will be back soon , because I love entropically and dystropically game series...
