This game is terrible when you go over 3k medals

Sitting here and counted how many times I hit the battle button before even seeing a base. 129 times!!! And of course it is a maxed out base that probably hacked. How bad is it when you have to drop medals just to be able to enjoy a game that makes the whole point of the game is to gain medals because there are no alliance wars, and there is nothing else that is some sort of competition but climbing the medal board. This is the only strategy game out there that doesn't have alliance wars and I have tried them all. I know you guys have posted how incompetent you are and that the game got to big for your team to handle but jeez can you do something to keep the 3k players active and enjoying the game. Believe me I am trying hard to replace this game because this is getting pretty pathetic when a game turns into just hitting the battle button non stop and that is all there is. So to the people striving to get above 3k medals trust me it will only make you hate the game.

One more thing why do you do things to make people hate you even more. You pull a 50% sale before nerfing and buffing nations what kind of BS is that. I never been around such an unorganized setup that tries hard to ruin something good!! Pray someone doesnt come around and makes a similar game that does it right because you will lose everybody fast and sit there looking at all the empty cubicles wondering what happened.

They need to remove the age attack restriction. That way there will always be someone to attack regardless of what age they are in. That should act as an incentive for moving up to those in lower ages. Every other game like this does it that way and you never get this 'no opponent found' problem.

Yes this is frustrating and I decided to use those 2000 crowns at dynasty to get paid peace treaties to wait it out, hoping the new patch would help. At the moment, I don't play because it's not fun clicking to find nothing. Dropping medals is double edged, you don't know if you'll ever have the motivation to go up again, coping with all the broken peace treaty bugs.

To broaden the opponents' based, they should at least allow attacks against players who are in the same age or higher, regardless of medals. Why can't I attack a maxed out industrial base which is sitting at 200 medals? They have the defense to handle it. They don't care about medals and I'll only take one. So everyone is happy. This would be a win-win situation.

And you can even add a factor in the resources that can be stolen when there is a difference in medals. For instance, a player at 3000 medals can only loot let's say 20% (random number for illustration) of the normal amount when fighting a 200 medals players.

Just start being creative and solve problems.

Yea, after 3100 medals it's not a game any more, but two button application with a notification 'no opponents'. Add to that broken peace treaties and different rewards to different players, so it is like pure big huge frustration.

So drop your medals before you wanna quit or dont play on PT until the update.

Please be patient, Ironangel is only starting out gunpowder age. Once he gets to industrial age and hits 3000 medals, he will be able to reply to you. If you are still around in 9 months when he reaches that level, you may want to check again and he may have a reply for you. In the meantime, I recommend taking a break and doing some meditation so you don't smash your device because of this game.

There's nothing new about this topic. Back in March 1600 medals was enough to get you in the top 10. I was in 2nd place for a week or so and sometimes would go over an hour with no opponents. The "no opponents" problem was an issue over 6 months ago. I ended up dropping medals just to get more opponents and to avoid the hackers who even existed back then. And this is clear ignorance of devs, not mods. They have tons of stats and perfectly know what's happening. Their solution is nerfs.

medals shouldn't be a factor in matchmaking, it should be based solely on player level.

why not switch match making to be 30 levels above or below your current level, and one age above or below? this would make matches more even, and prevent max IA cheater from rolling over low level EA bases that are in a similar league. plus it would also help reduce the number of times that players see the no opponent found message.

Yes a medal system revision is needed why are you completely ignoring your players this has been a common thread from your player base for months.
