Honestly i finally got fed up with this game, and as Funken_A wrote "when something becomes this frustrating its no longer fun" sadly thats where i am as well.
The biggest problem was when alot of the players exploited the game and used the crown hack to max out their bases and being able to go on a attacking spree with out worrying about the losses of crowns, Nexon could have just done a reroll after they figured out about the exploit and had a fix for it, or just balance the game like i wrote and just reduce the cost when you get to Industrial age to atleast even it out and have some sort balance to make it fair, and prevent the problem from happening for the next age (not the best solution, there would still be high amount players with thousands of crowns in their hands but atleast any kind of balance would be good.) When the company doesnt care about the players, it seems pointless to even play.

To people who doesnt exactly understand how the exploit effects the players in this game: When someone is on a attacking spree and can use crowns to constantly being able to have 4 tactics on every single attack, the defender gets a peace treaty. Now imagine a bunch of players with alot of crowns on their hands doing the exact same. And that leaves mostly maxed out bases left to attack, or bases that has way to little resources left to loot and may cost the same amount of food to rebuild you're whole army.

And SORRY, i cant stay on the game for hours to constatly keep attacking and stay online to avoid getting attacked and wait for 20+ minutes everytime to rebuild the army so i dont lose what i just have looted, i got **** to do in real life.
I'm getting nowhere and keep attacking for resources and then end up losing the resources i just looted.

And one of the other problem is that, i want to be able to feel free and change nations when i get bored of playing the same nation, and 600 crowns is a reasonble price, but everytime you change a nation the crown cost increases, which makes you even afraid to change nation and prevents you being able to try something new, meaning you get limited. The game is just simply no longer fun.

I really really loved the concept of this game, starting from iron age and upgrade your civilization through time. I never thought i would stop playing this early. I will probably check out the game when the new update gets released, and if there isnt any proper balance after the update i will be writing a review about this game from my point of view on playstore/appstore.

Good luck everyone.

Sorry to see you go... I've decided to stick to it until the next update. And make my verdict. However I'm noticing a trend in those who quit. They're all high age high medal players, frustrated about cheaters, it's understandable. Troubling to think about, really.

It's sad but true that Big Huge Games is doing too little too slow. I agree with you and think they made the problem you describe even worse with the recent medal gain/loss change. At least before if there were no resources worth going after you could try and climb the medal ranks. Now they made the win reward laughable at best and the loss penalty a gang rape (might as well have asked us to bend over first). I mean come on BHG why would anyone even risk attacking those maxed out IA cheater bases (lvl160+) with the stupid 30+ medals you made it cost them in a loss for the chance at a 1-4 medal gain? The game is fast loosing any appeal it has left. BHG wake up! Your medal system sucks, and attacks are no longer fun... The reward for winning is taken away by one loss, and what's worse by unbalanced players. I and many others are not far from getting on the leave this crap that just pisses me off continually wagon.

I don't have issues with resources, really. Both nations I played British and now France do well. But I just can pity those IA players of other nations now, who don't spend much and have to spend 24!!! Days on two barracks. My British army cooking time was 40 mins, with two barracks it'd be 1 hour. So 1 time built per training blessing? Or also do raiders. So now I have a hundred of sniper attacks per day... It's no fun at all. I am just bored in two days. With current balance you just don't have efficient loot strategy targeting 5-starring bases. British may have it for EA and I am not sure if it works for IA or will work after any update or other nations. They need to do something with defenders, you need the way too many archers to handle them, nerf generals, return dps to HC, but reduce HP, add more HP to soldiers or range or nerf mortairs/redoubts, etc they naturally try to make the game harder, but cheaters flood just makes people leave. It does not work in such case.

I agree getting resources is a little more tedious than before and that wouldn't matter if you were still having fun, but there are to many glitches in the way the troops attack. A lot of times you just keep cycling through bases because they only have 60k-90k and it just wouldn't be worth it. Constantly using raiding armies with the same strategy over and over because that is the only way left to advance gets really boring too. The horses need a small buff as do the foot soldiers.

the issues with the resources are that hey made it take way longer to net the same amount of resources. The attacks are not as fun for me as they were before the update, scratch that...boringly repetitive.

It's sad to see you go Mizzo. I understand the frustration, I was there myself recently. But we are seeing positive changes and I think we can't expect BHG to "snap their fingers" and make the problems go away. These things take time, I think we will be seeing even more positive changes soon. BHG might not be dealing with the cheaters as fast as we would like, but they are obviously dealing with them and it will only get better.

You right tickling, we have responsive support now, but the game naturally gets harder with ages and nerf of HC and oil units made it just boring. When it is boring and cheaters are all around, players leave. Tim said that they analyze data... So how many guerrillas are used now? With all these traps. Game balance should encourage all-in attacks, not this mongol style.

Buffs/nerfs are part of any game. BHG has a unique game with some tricky age related upgrades that need to be worked out (e.g. cavalry > tank). There has to be a balance and often it takes some trial and error to find it.

This game is designed for crowns spender, or else, very tough to loot further once the entire troops were dismissed. Hardly able to wait 30 minutes for the completed troops and a 40-45 min per tactic.

Really not easy to loot 3mil in a single day without clicking some crowns for faster troops and as a player using my phone, it is a bit difficult but I dont mind to slowly hunt as I very reluctant to spam crowns on it and limited myself 30-50 crowns ( for troops only ) for each 1-1.5mil loots.

Starting from EA, you may loot 3m gold in 1-2 hours without army buffs, crowns, etc., food goes 50% slower, if you don't hunt for it, but gets to the max by itself in two days of raiding.

They have long passed the snap of their fingers time line. Each update has created new issues, not addressed the existing issues as intended, and made the game as a whole less fun. That kind of 'progress' as some will blindly call it has occurred over a lengthy time, far beyond the snap of ones fingers analogy. No one cares if they take murders off the street if the next day someone close to them is murdered, the same feeling applies to the cheaters or 'level 160+ Players' that are still out there
