There were already a few suggestions to improve troop deployment at the start of the battle. Nothing has changed so far, so I am adding another one suggestion for the topic.
It would be great to have a few virtual armies (more in later ages) with manageable slots. One would be able to assign and arrange his barrack and factory troops into the armies (e.g. One assigns 2 tanks and a few shooters to the army "A", then he assigns some infantry and artillery to the army "B", and so on). Then on the battlefield, one could deploy each army at once (troops would start moving out of the army banner, just like troops from coalition army, or troops tactics). Any barrack and factory troops not assigned to any army, would be deployed as normal by individually clicking on the battlefield, so the virtual armies usage would be optional. Who wants his troops grouped in the armies for smooth and well-arranged deployment, would use armies, and who uses only bunch of British shooters could deploy in the old way by multi-touch.
