Usually I drop troops by tapping and holding a location. Sometimes, when I pause for a moment or switch to another troop, I am unable to deploy more troops of a certain type. It appears to be totally random, meaning it's not always the initial troop that I drop that has the problem. It occasionally happens with merc troops or donated troops too. There is an error telling me it is an invalid location for deployment, but no matter where I try to drop the troops I get the same error, even when I'm positive that location is valid. This might be related to a change of the acceptable "drop" regions after an initial deployment.
