War Generals hiding in Forts

Anyone else notice since the Global release you no longer see what Generals are on top of the Fort when scouting?

Will, you mean on the Castle? I still see Generals sitting there when I roll through Multiplayer. Are they spawning the moment you start a battle or are they spewing only when you get in range?

Yes when you scout WAR bases, not regular multiplayer .

War Phoenix - David the castle eventually is renamed as Fort.

Yes I would like to know whether I'm going up against a level 5 general or a level 40 general so I can make the necessary preparations.

Very much agreed- though I'm not quite going against lvl 40 generals- but still. For alliances that actually have their act together, this is something that needs repair.

It's been ticking me off since it started, so ofc, glad you've pointed it out.

Also on negative side I am seeing a lot more 2 Generals in war.

10-4, Yes Will you are right. This went away during the Global Age upgrade. We were in the middle of a war and thought it may come back but it hasn't. Frustrating. They do still spawn.

I don't know.... I kinda like people not knowing my general level is when war scouting. It's great for noobs and low level players like me.
They look at my pathetic defence and they would think it's a free meal.
Then when they attack....*Taadaa* 2 lvl 20 gens =)

I think the biggest loss here is just knowing if they will spawn 1 or 2 generals. 1 general isn't a huge concern to me.

Main rule is: Never let out a general, if you are attacking a player at your level... Even if they are lower level generals, they will still slow you down. Your attack must be a hurricane. Forts are usually surrounded with "worth-to-sabotage-or-blitzkrieg" buildings, so I don't care about the level of the defending gens. I make sure they never come out.
