War mismatches. Coalitions and pay to win. Had enough.

As someone who has played since the first month when this game launched I consider myself a rather loyal player. I have tried to be patient knowing that various fixes keep being added. Sadly match making seems if anything worse not better. We are consistently being matched against Alliances with players 1 or 2 ages above our top players. At times you can drop down 10 places and still not find anyone who is compareable as a target. World Wars are just quite simply not fun anymore.

Increasingly I am also seeing more pay to win schemes. Its nearly impossible to obtain your coaltions for war unless you make raiding your full time job or use crowns. Tactics take longer than a trip to the dentist to retrain (more crowns) and you are flat out just selling buildings that we used to have to earn. Even Marco Polo has just turned into a Crown-Mart instead of a trade your goods place. Finally expeditions rarely offer any armies as rewards anymore. So your ability to get those extra stronghold armies is tied to (you guessed it) Crowns!

I am going to step back from war and crown buying for awhile until some of these things are fixed. I remain optimistic in the long term that the team will sort these issues out and fully impliment all of the promised features.

Yes Judyville... its very sad the direction the game is going in.

I have waved off quite a few comrades over time and it really saddens me that the fun game we began to love turned into just a daily chore and a pest in our life. Games like CoC or Star Wars Commander, you can literally pick up after 2 days and get into war, enjoy it and then pleasurably pick it up a little later. Dominations (whilst being one of the best games of this genre in terms of interactivity on the battlefield) has really lost its appeal by becoming a full time job! Add to that all the bugs they wont fix (THE NEW OFFER AND SALE WINDOW SEEMS TO BE BUG FREE I MUST ADD.... blurgh) and these stupid stupid stupid event war tactic armies which render any defence realism null and void..
well .....
I just hate Event armies, War Tactics nerf, upgrade costs IA/Global on, build times IA/Global on and Bugs, its ruined a really really good game as its obvious whilst Nexons mission statement clearly states its not a pay to win... they do everything in their power to frustrate the pants off you and press the Crown to finish button (Sale Events... a nice feature to help players.... NO... My builder are still busy from the last one, but my Redoubts and Mortars are soooo expensive I should crown my builder to finish in time to get this new fantastic offer)

Hats off Nexon, you got me addicted with a lovely and fantastic game which I cant put down.

BUT I despise Nexon BHG.. and all your recent updates and your ethics! Its just a matter of time before you drive everyone away... (but that is what you want, isn't it.. you cant just end the game because people will ask for refunds, so you just need to drive it into the ground... very clever *clap clap clap*)

And breathe... back to raiding as that is what I have been programmed for....
