Just wondering if a lot of people use 'wall breakers' for war attacks, I usually don't, but it seems like a lot of my alliance does. Just wondering what your thoughts are.

I will only bring a wall breaker for a 'maze' base setup. If the walls are all closed there's no point as archers and howitzers shoot over walls.

GP age - They're pretty hit or miss for me. I probably bring them with more often then not though.

If there's multiple sections of walls I need to get through I usually will.
If there's an anti tank gun near the edge but a mortar is covering that part of the wall.
If I'm expecting my archers will need to go through an exterior wall I'll save one so they don't get stuck. - This one is pretty rough because you have to time it right, if there's nothing left nearby inside the wall he'll just attack buildings while my archers spend the rest of the time shooting down 3 sections of wall.

Well the standing army lvl 5 tech does add +5 more troops so it's pretty much nothing lost if you go with your pre-lvl 5 tech army comp, with atleast one wall miner ontop of it. Infact it's a straight up buff. I don't think there's anything lost by having atleast one of the guys tag along.

I don't use them for war attacks or PvP battles.

I did use them when tc spawn troop range was high to be able to get to TC and destroy it in duration of one sabotage.
Since TC spawn range now is 5 they ain't really needed.
However I do consider using them once more once my splash dmg of Htanks gets researched in 1 day, so that Htanks won't need too many time to destroy a wall and they can ride right inside wall sections instead of destroying a wall right next to antitank gun and dying in the process which sometimes did happen with Htanks I took for attack

I use them in war if i want to funnel troops in towards TC instead of letting them spread out..... also if you are up against a base with wall gaps, better to make your own....
