What happened to the 300 supplies offer at the expedition??

Sorry if the question has already been asked..
I think it happened after the last update but I stopped getting offered 300 supplies as reward for expeditions. Now the most I get offered is like 34! ..and only every second day
Are they still offering? What gives?? Are the devs finally showing their true colours and weeding out the non pay to plays?

Did you upgrade your dock?
From memory the rewards are less from lvl7 onwards.

I've never seen 300 as an actual reward unless you're in a higher league and the bonus from sending a general gave you 300 but that's still random not guaranteed. The most that I remember every seeing was like 120-160 but that was with a lvl 4-5 shipyard. but 34 as a reward is definitely a maxed out shipyard as that's all I get now.

That's the reason I keep my dock at lv6. I regularly get offered 100-200 supply expeditions.

I was going to ask about this - I've seen various comments about the dock giving poorer expeditions at higher levels, but wasn't sure what level to stop at. So 6 is probably the best bet? (Currently at 5)

Cheers for that - very interesting. At Level 5 (Destination Goa) you can get 85 supplies but it is a 2 day trip with 4 workers.

What does that right hand column show? lv7+6 shipyard? Lv8+7shipyard?
Looking at those numbers the bottom dock has the best supplies 128 for La Rochelle. And that is what I get with a lv6 dock.

Looks like you get shorter trips for less supplies with the higher docks, but 4hr * 34 or 53 yields 365 or 570 supplies at the higher docks in the same amount of time (43hr). Plus you get much better benefactor and researcher amounts.

It would seem that the higher level docks are definitely more worthwhile from that chart. 4hr trip for 34/53 supplies versus 1d23hr for 128 supplies. Also you can get 43 researchers in 8 hrs? That's boss.

NateTheGreat - I agree - it's the reduction in time that clinches it. I really dislike sending workers on 2 day trips at the best of times.

Oh dang, the one column "Resource per time per worker" shows you the ratio of #benefactors/supplies/researchers per hour. That gives you the exact info you'd need to understand the lv9 dock is best.

If worker efficiency is your goal, then sure level 9 seems good - probably the same logic Nexon designers used. But if maximizing supplies gained is your goal, then you should consider that if each expedition has an equal chance to come up then on average for each expedition slot:

Level 9 yields 31+54=85 supplies in 4+8+16+16+33+4+8+33+33+16=171 hours or 85/171=0.50 supplies per hour
Level 8 is 0.26 supplies per hour
Level 7 is 0.65 supplies per hour <<< BETTER

That’s considering that you use each expedition. However if you only take expeditions for supplies (letting all others expire after 24 hours) then on average for each expedition slot:

Level 9 yields 31+54=85 supplies in 4+24+24+24+24+4+24+24+24+24=200 hours or 85/200=0.43 supplies per hour
Level 8 is 0.28 supplies per hour
Level 7 is 0.81 supplies per hour <<< STILL BETTER

If you really, really want supplies badly and don’t care about citizens efficiency then you can also take all expeditions less than 24 hours even when they don’t have supplies to expire them sooner. Then on average for each expedition slot:

Level 9 yields 31+54=85 supplies in 4+8+16+16+24+4+8+24+24+16=144 hours or 85/144=0.6 supplies per hour
Level 8 is 0.35 supplies per hour
Level 7 is 1.03 supplies per hour <<< BEST

Lvl 7 is the best as we have some members at lvl 7 and supply numbers wise, they are far ahead even though they are industrial players vs my being cwa with maxed shipyard. If you want to maximize further than leave it at level 7 and being global you can max out expedition tab in library to further boost your numbers. And going Atomic yet again further should you happen to choose Sydney Opera House as your building. But the trade off being that you get trash troop cards to go with the supplies. Though I will say that while it doesn't give supplies as a reward, my favorite troop card from lvl 7 was the baltimore fencibles and even though they nerfed it, you still get multiple wall breakers which is still good.
