What is your attack load-out? Mine seems so weak now :(

Hi everyone I was wondering what do you use as an attack load out? Im in IA and still waiting for my tanks and airfield to finish.
Atm I use
41 Righteous Riflemen
3 artillery
8 Heavy Gats
2 medics
1 wall sapper
1 betrayal
1 demo dynamite
3 sabotage
Usually x2 generals on Lvl 10 and 11


It just doesn’t cut it anymore, they seem so weak even against EA bases now. Whats happening? :( :(

Depends on if it's for war of multi ..without giving out the secret formula 😎, id say more arti and less gunners tho for sure. Especially if its a running of out time issue

Not sure about the 8 Gatling guns. Personally, I would remove those, add an extra artillery unit and 4 HC. My 2nd account is Korean and I do well with 4 cannons, 4 HC, 2 supply trains and the rest Korean rifleman. Once you get aircraft it will help a lot with tougher bases.

HC? Heavy Cav? yeah Im waiting for them to upgrade to tanks. I always though the Gats were good at protecting the arty..no?

Found they wander off too much and firing range isn't enough imo, I don't even use em tbh.. Plus ur Korean so much more bang for ur dps buck going that direction.. I'd suggest 4-6 arti depending.. Def co -sign what Parmenion said

Yep, heavy cavalry. They're still worth using whilst waiting for tanks. They're excellent at keeping the heat away from the other troops. The rifleman will protect your artillery so no need for Gatling guns. Carry a protect tactic and apply at the start of a tough battle, as that will also help a lot. I carry 1 protect, 3 sabotage and 1 betrayal. The mix works well for me.

Mine is 6 Greek tanks, 3 artillery, 2 supply trucks, 30? riflemen, and 9? Shock assault. Usually takes out most bases with 3 triplanes for tower suppression and protect + sabotage as necessary. In industrial this could 5 star any enlightenment base although the mercenaries would sometimes be a good help as necessary (usually only in war).
IMO this combo is tied together by the planes as they reduce the requirement of most tactics for all but the stronger bases, having no planes while I'm doing the long global airstrip upgrade has made it much less effective 😭.
Sometimes I play around with subbing 2 tanks for a heavy tank which had some success, although I think I need a bit more practice with them.

start from Gunpowder, you should have at least 4 arty. Now in Global I was attacked with a record 9 or 10 arty! and most of them will need 2 healers!

Reduce the rifles to have and get rid of the gats and wall sapper.

Replace them with 1 more art, a few footies (for clean up) and the rest HC.

I would also swap the demo for a betrayal or protect.

Your current troop compo looks good against defenders but the 3 arts lack the fire power to level most bases.

Nice mix - similar to mine - and also no real need for sapper since ranged units easily fire over walls.

Thanks bro... yes why did I ever change the protection (LOLOL) , shouldve kept that. Try try what you awesome folk have suggested tonight on my #2 battle in our WW ;)

Edit: Oh hey, why lose the wall sapper though? Arent they handy?

118 troop spaces if I can count, where are the missing 17?

I've used 3 St-Chamond tanks, 7 art, 2 trucks, 28 rifles for quite a while - 2 protect, 2 betrayal, 1 barrage. No air or mercs at the moment, upgrading. (not actually playing for a week, can't log in, so all upgrades should have finished by now :)

Solid combo...but gets boring already...I am trying new combo with HT now...

I play as french and I use:

5 R35 tanks
4 howitzer
3 heavy gats
2 supply truck
23 submachine gun
2 triplanes
1 airship
3 sabotage, 2 betrayal & 1 protect

This combination works pretty well for me and I can even 5star global base with it :)

Hey! That's my combo! LOL! Well, except I use 3 triplanes and I'm French. Figured that the British version would be way better. Having 3 cannons or tanks for alliance troops doesn't hurt either :)

Roman - IA - still EA barracks - still some EA units - lvl 2 airfield with 3 space
4 cavalry (horses)
5 artillery
49 shooters
2 supply cartes
1 zepplin 1 biplane
1 general (usually need it to clear last few buildings)
2 sabotage 1 dynamite 1 betrayal

no gattling - cuz short range, die fast, have biplanes incase if i run low on shooters
no saboteurs cuz of traps
usually have alliance troops (artillery or tanks) as backup in hard times
