What research is inherited on troop donations to alliance members?

Is it only the space reduction upgrade? Or are any of the other library and/or university upgrades applied to the troops you donate?

On the receiving end, do your upgrades impact the troops that are donated to you?

Yes, only troop size (e.g., HT taking 24 spaces instead of 25).

Yes, for example donating a HT to someone that hasn't yet researched splash damage is a bad idea. Imagine an HT MK8 without splash damage... not good
